Study On The Roof Shape Of Buildings Around Xi'an City Wall

The roof is an important modeling part of the building,which affects the overall shape of the building and the overall style of the city.Xi'an is a famous historical and cultural city,and the Ming city wall is an important historical building in Xi'an.In order to protect this historical building and maintain the style of the ancient capital,the roof shape of buildings around the city wall has been controlled in various regulations of urban planning,such as the planning of building height,roof form,color,etc.In fact,what is the shape of the building roof around the wall? Is it coordinated? Is the ancient capital protected? How to continue the next step of landscape protection planning? These problems are all lack of content in the current research institute.In order to solve the above problems,the author conducted a real state investigation on the buildings around the city wall.First of all,it gives a general overview of the "five in one" city wall protection system and the current situation of the surrounding cities,and constructs the overall environmental background of the research object.Secondly,on the basis of summarizing and combing the information,the paper focuses on the single buildings along the road section from Hepingmen to yongningmen,and analyzes the morphological characteristics of the building roof in the road section from the perspectives of the dichotomy of the building roof and the plane,the influence of the building roof on the facade composition and the modeling of the roof itself.Thirdly,it focuses on the roof analysis of the building group,that is,the skyline.Make clear the elements of urban skyline,analyze the form of skyline from Hepingmen to yongningmen from the three levels of point,line and surface,and finally evaluate and calculate the related quantitative indexes from the three aspects of the level,coordination and continuity of skyline: pasting rate,building mountain wall spacing,single building length,average height ratio and critical building height ratio,so as to get the analysis Conclusion.Finally,it analyzes and interprets the environmental factors of the building roof around the city wall,and obtains the Enlightenment of the roof form expression.Through questionnaire survey,the public's cognition of the overall impression of the city around the city wall is understood,and the principles and methods of building roof control in the area around the city wall are put forward.Finally,the paper summarizes the roof analysis(the current situation of buildings to be changed)and the shape control(the control strategy to protect the style and feature).There is a long way to go for the continuation and protection of ancient capital style.I hope this paper can contribute to the protection of Xi'an ancient city style,the development of urban planning and the design of roof form.
