The distinctive regional traditional pattern is the main material carrier of local cultural elements,and is also an important factor and direction to restore and revitalize the features and vitality of traditional folk custom towns,display local special culture and promote rural revitalization.The street space in the characteristic town is the vein connecting the various spatial systems of the town,the gathering place for crowd activities,and the main place to build a cultural atmosphere.In Yuzhong County,Gansu Province,where many ethnic groups live in China,there is a very rich and long-standing regional culture.The characteristic towns in Qingcheng are the local unique cultural representatives,and the regional traditional patterns are important cultural elements in the context of characteristic towns.This article is based on the cultural construction and development of characteristic towns,starting with regional traditional patterns,and addressing the problems of regional cultural desalination in the rapid development of current characteristic towns.Explore the space design.The content of the article is from the perspective of discipline,through the study of the concepts of regionality,characteristic towns,street space,traditional patterns and the analysis of relevant excellent cases at home and abroad,so as to obtain the type of elements,the performance of elements and specific applications.It puts forward five design strategies for local local traditional patterns,such as direct use,integrated use,simplification of complexities,split integration and summary,and through the design practice of Qinjie Lane in the characteristic town of Qingcheng as an example,it stops in Neighboring nostalgia,folk customs,livable life,etc.transformed the landscape space and cultural features of the characteristic towns and streets under the multicultural background of the northwest region,and created its unique regional cultural atmosphere.Through the theoretical research and practical strategy plan of this article,we try to discuss the spatial design strategy of the characteristic towns under the multicultural background in the northwest region,and provide a basis for the development research of the characteristic towns in the later period.Through research and practice on the basis of following the design regionality,innovation,etc.,it proposed a "one main line,five nodes,eight branch lines" spatial transformation plan to demonstrate and apply this,to reflect the style of the residential house and the spatial cultural atmosphere,as Cultural development,style display,and the promotion of rural revitalization strategies in culture to make corresponding explorations and contributions.Make changes to the cultural homogeneity issues that have emerged during the reconstruction of the cultural features of the characteristic towns in the northwest region.It has important significance and value for exploring the inheritance and development of regional culture in the cultural construction of characteristic towns.
