Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of China’s economy,China’s energy demand is growing,but the energy utilization rate is relatively low and energy waste is serious.Especially the recovery and utilization of industrial waste heat is particularly important.It can reduce the energy consumption by improving the utilization rate of industrial waste heat.The recovery of industrial waste heat is of great significance to the realization of energy conservation,emission reduction and the sustainable development of economy.Pulsating heat pipe has excellent heat transfer performance.If it can be applied to these waste heat recovery,it can solve some energy waste problems.The start-up performance test-bed of plate microchannel pulsating heat pipe is designed and built.A new type of heat exchanger of plate microchannel pulsating heat pipe is designed.And its design calculation and performance basic research are carried out.This paper briefly introduces the structure characteristics and working principle of pulsating heat pipe.Besides it summarizes the influencing factors on the performance of pulsating heat pipe.Based on the previous research results and theoretical analysis,a plate microchannel pulsating heat pipe with a certain number of bends compared with the horizontal plane is studied.The pulsating effect of the plate microchannel heat pipe with different bends is analyzed theoretically and experimentally to verify its pulsating effect.The experimental results show that:(1)the smaller the bending number,the better the starting performance.(2)When the number of bends is fixed,the start-up time and the start-up effect become longer and worse with the increase of liquid filling rate.(3)With the same filling rate and number of elbows,the shorter the start-up time,the better the start-up effect.(4)When the working medium is acetone,the heat resistance is the smallest and the heat transfer effect is the best on the condition that the liquid filling rate of the new flat microchannel pulsating heat pipe is 40%.(5)With the increase of the number of bends,the smaller the thermal resistance,and the better the heat transfer effect.(6)In the begining,the heat exchange efficiency of pulsating heat pipe increases with the increase of heat flow velocity at the range from 1.5m/s to 4m/s,and then the efficiency of heat exchanger is basically unchanged with the increase of wind velocity.(7)The heat transfer efficiency of the new heat pipe heat exchanger increases with the increase of the inlet temperature.When the angle between the plate surface of the heat pipe and the direction of wind velocity is 30°,the heat exchanger has the best heat transfer.
