With the rapid development of micro electronics technology,electronic equipment heat flux per unit area increases,easy to cause the heat accumulate in electronic equipment,if this part of the heat is not dissipated in time,electronic equipment’s temperature will rise and make its performance decline or damage,so the electronic devices require to spread more heat on a small area.One of the effective ways to realize the heat dissipation of high heat flow density electronic components is the heat pipe,especially the plat micro-channel heat pipe array that has the advantages of compact structure,good stability,high thermal conductivity and good temperature uniformity,using plate micro grooved heat pipe array heat transfer has become a hot research field of micro-electronics in recent years.This paper briefly introduces the structure characteristics and working principle of plate micro heat pipe array,summarizes the main factors affecting the heat transfer performance of plate micro heat pipe and tablets the application of plate micro heat pipe array in the real life.Analysis of the predecessors’ research results,through theoretical analysis,A plate micro heat pipe array with a certain Angle to the horizontal plane is produced.Its internal working medium under the direction of gravity force and capillary force needed for working medium backflow in the same direction,so the working medium of gravity plays a supplementary role,and the heat pipe array can adapt to the working environment of transverse space is limited.Through analyzing the production of the heat pipe,established a thermal resistance model of flat micro heat pipe array in the process of heat transfer,analysis the heat pipe’s heat transfer principle and influence factors of thermal resistance,design and construct the heat transfer performance’s test platform and start the performance test platform of flat micro heat pipe array.In this paper,the heat transfer performance and start-up performance of the heat pipe made under different internal structures,different angles,different liquid filling rates and different working fluids were tested.The specific research results are as follows: First,the bending angle of the flat heat pipe array is the smaller the better starting performance,when the heating power is small the bending Angle is the bigger the better the performance of heat transfer;Second,when the internal structure,the type of work and the Angle of bending are the same,the heat transfer performance of the flat-bed heat pipe array with 40% liquid filling rate is the best,and the start-up performance is good;Third,with methanol and acetone as working medium of u-shaped micro heat pipe array’s heat transfer performance and thermal homogeneity are superior to the u-shaped micro heat pipe array with the ethanol as working medium,the flat heat pipe array with the methanol as working medium of start-up performance is best;Forth,the heat transfer performance and homogenization of the flat heat pipe array with microstructure are better than the flat heat pipe array without microstructure.
