With the increasingly fierce competition in the construction market,construction enterprises are facing greater challenges in the profitability of engineering projects,m aking construction enterprises pay more and more attention to the cost control in proje ct management.Cost control,as the most important link in construction project manag ement,directly affects the success of the project.In addition,the construction phase of the project as a key part of the dominant position of the project,the quality of its cost control means the quality of the whole project.Therefore,in the construction stage of the construction project to take effective cost control method has become the most co ncerned about the construction enterprises.This article selects the actual case using the earned value method to the project c onstruction stage of cost control,its purpose is through the comparison with the traditi onal cost control methods,highlights the earned value method of the cost and schedul e together dynamic cost control,the advantages of earned value method is more in lin e with business needs advanced comprehensive cost control method.Through the disc ussion of the earned value method,the theoretical basis,combined with the specific ca se city of JZ C project(student apartments)the actual engineering situation,first of all to work breakdown structures of C project,the project is divided into three main parts(basic engineering,the main body engineering,decoration engineering)analysis,and on the project budget cost and actual cost of statistical data.Then,the planned value B CWS,earned value BCWP and actual value ACWP of the project in this stage are test ed regularly.Meanwhile,the cost deviation CV,progress deviation SV,cost performan ce index CPI and progress performance index SPI of this stage are calculated,and the earned value curve and performance index graph are drawn.Finally,the reasons for th e deviation in this stage were found out,and corrective measures were taken in time to promote the project to be completed on time within the scope of budget cost.The results show that the earned value method is effective in the cost control ofconstruction project.Besides it has the advantage of dynamic cost control,the most i mportant is that the earned value method,this will cost control and schedule control to gether comprehensive cost control method,not only to the project managers in the ma nagement process provides a comprehensive and accurate data,also increased the brea dth and depth of cost control,greatly enhance the effect of the cost control in project management.
