With the country's strategic guidance and promotion of BIM technology,the research and application of Building Information Modeling technology in water conservancy projects has become a current hot spot.The construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects in China is moving from traditional construction technology to digital information Technology changes.BIM technology is a digital description of digital graphic information and building physical information.Based on BIM technology,a full-lifetime platform for water conservancy projects is established,which can realize the collection,transmission and sharing of engineering information.This paper systematically researches the digital graphic media model of RCC arch dam and its key technologies.By studying the modeling method of 3D digital solid terrain model,an automatic construction method of 3D terrain is proposed;by studying the different data structures of the 3D digital model of the RCC arch dam established,a method of fine conversion of the finite element model is found To avoid repetitive modeling work and improve work efficiency,a finite element analysis of a RCC arch dam was performed,which enriched the information content of the BIM model.The main results are as follows:1.Study the DXF file format,write a script to process DXF files in Python,read contour data information,and use Delaunay triangulation to describe the topological relationship of terrain surfaces to realize automatic modeling of 3D digital terrain models for hydraulic engineering.2.A modeling method based on feature-based parametric modeling and supplemented by direct modeling technology is studied.Based on the data type of the established BIM model,an intermediate data format for finely transforming the BIM model to the finite element model was found,and some graphics were lost during data conversion between the BIM model and the finite element calculation model based on SpaceClaim software Method of information.Study the data types of the established BIM model,find a most accurate data format that refines the BIM model to the finite element model,and find a data conversion between the BIM model and the finite element calculation model based on SpaceClaim software Method of losing some graphic information.3.Based on the BIM technology,a finite element analysis of a RCC arch dam was performed.The hexahedral calculation meshing technique of the converted finite element model was studied,and the calculation results were based on the "Concrete Arch Dam Design Code"(SL282-2003).The demonstration was carried out to expand the application of BIM technology in hydraulic engineering.
