Distribution network is the middle or the end of regional grid, which is generally built in large and medium-sized cities and surrounding villages and towns.Distribution network is an important part of the infrastructure to ensure the normal operation of modern urban society. Its main function is to realize the wide distribution of electric energy,so as to meet the power demand of power users in different locations and different voltage levels in the region,so as to ensure the normal operation of the city and the development of social economy. With the rapid development of society and economy, the speed of urbanization in various regions is accelerating. As a new direction and space of urban development,th e new urban area also has higher requirements in function planning and facilities supporting.Accordingly,as the most important infrastructure, the distribution network should also adapt to the development needs of the new urban area. The new urban distri bution network should not only ensure the stability and reliability of power supply, but also ensure the quality of power quality. At the same time,it should also take into account the economy of construction and the foresight of urban development.Taking the Furong New District in Shaoguan as an example, this paper discusses the environmental status and construction development requirements of the new urban area, studies the distribution network planning of the new urban area, and puts forward a set of co rresponding reasonable distribution network design and planning scheme.First of all, this paper discusses the concept of distribution network and the significance and necessity of distribution network planning, and briefly introduces the main concepts and steps of distribution network planning, and introduces the current situation and shortcomings of distribution network planning research at home and abroad.Secondly, combining with the Furong New District of Shaoguan, this paper discusses the urban environment, economic development, traffic construction, the current situation and existing problems of supporting existing power grid operation,as well as the power demand for the future development of the city and the predetermined goal of power grid construction,so as to show the correlation between the development of the new district and the distribution network planning. Then, this paper introduces the existing typical scheme of each step module of the new urban distribution network planning, and analyzes the existing distribution network construction of Furong new urban area.At the same time, taking the distribution network of Xilian and Yangshan areas in Furong New District of Shaoguan as examples, this paper discusses the implementation scheme of the distribution network planning in the new urban area, focusing on the advantages and problems that can be solved by the grid power supply scheme of medium voltage lines in the distribution network planning in the new urban area,as well as its implementation in Xilian and Yangshan areas, and designs the corresponding distribution network structure according to the grid power supply scheme.?At last, this paper verifies the scheme of the former section with two cases of distribution network transformation in two areas, discusses the operation of the target line, the existing structure of the line, the load condition, the existing problems of the line,as well as the implementation scheme of the transformation and the results after the transformation.Through the continuous monitoring and data analysis of the examples, the operation and maintenance situation of the distribution network line after the transformation is discussed.Obviously better than before,it can be considered that the new urban distribution network planning scheme proposed in this paper is feasible and operable.
