| At present,traffic congestion and other problems are becoming more and more serious in major cities in China.In order to alleviate traffic congestion and thereby improve urban operating efficiency,relevant government departments and social institutions advocate vigorously giving priority to the development of public transportation.However,due to the constraints of price,comfort,punctuality rate and other related factors,it is difficult to improve the public transport sharing rate.The study found that the bus punctuality rate has gradually become the biggest influencing factor of public transport attraction.Traffic signal control intersection is the bottleneck of urban traffic system,traffic signal control have a huge impact on the public transport system,the research of "bus signal priority" is rich,but there is little research on traffic signal control in the field of bus punctuality rate.In this regard,the bus punctuality rate control method based on signal timing and schedule optimization was studied in this paper.The main work completed and the results obtained are as follows:(1)First of all,the basic concept of urban bus punctuality rate was given,on the basis of which the calculation method was given,and the bus punctuality rate under different punctuality discrimination ranges was analyzed through examples,the relevant influencing factors of bus punctuality rate were analyzed and summarized;Secondly,the theory of bus schedule preparation and traffic signal control theory were introduced,and the basis and method of bus schedule preparation were analyzed.Finally,the operation process of the bus was analyzed.(2)In response to the need for punctuality control of bus,the operating process of the bus was analyzed,especially the waiting time of the bus at the intersection.In order to improve the bus punctuality rate,starting from the signal timing of the intersection,combined with the optimization of bus scheduled timetable,a single signal intersection oriented bus punctuality control method is proposed and the method implementation steps and process were given to achieve the punctuality control of single signal intersection.Numerical examples and simulation results show that the method has high control effect.(3)In response to the need for punctuality control of bus routes,using the signal timing scheme of upstream intersection to regulate the punctuality rate of downstream bus stop was introduced.The time deviation between the actual and planned departure from the upstream intersection of the bus are adjusted by introducing the intersection phase margin time,which ensured the punctuality of the bus to the downstream bus stop.The method of calculating the bus arrival time to the bus stop was provided,the formulas of calculating the punctuality range of the upstream intersections were derived,and the objective function of the whole bus punctuality rate control model was defined.Finally,the bus punctuality control model based on the phase margin time at intersections was established with the optimization variable constraints,and a bus schedule based on the time-space diagram of punctuality rate control was generated via comprehensive optimization of signal cycle length and offsets variables.The analysis of numerical examples and simulation experiments show that the control model can guarantee the punctuality requirements of buses to the maximum.(4)Aiming at the punctuality demand of the bus network,the punctuality control model of the bus network was first established on the basis of control model of the main bus line,and the changes of the model under different circumstances were further analyzed,several optimization algorithms for model solving were introduced.Secondly,in order to control the number of vehicles arriving at the station,the method of preparing and optimizing of the scheduled timetable of the bus network was analyzed and studied.By optimizing the departure time,the applicability of punctuality control methods was improved;Finally,the reliability of the model was verified by the analysis of numerical examples and simulation experiments,the results show that the punctuality rate of each stop of each bus line exceeds 90%,and the punctuality control method has a high control effect. |
