Shared bike,or public bicycle,is a new type of environmentally friendly transportation. With the popularity of shared bikes, the analysis of bikes' mobility has also attracted the attention of governments, business organizations and researchers.Current researches of shared bike mainly focus on better urban planning, traffic warning and route planning, ignoring the potential of data transmission among bikes, users and docks as communication nodes. On the other hand, mobility analysis model is no more applicable by virtue of the intermittent, sparse and passive bike movements.Under these circumstances, considering the natural sharing feature of shared bikes, the data dissemination on bike sharing systems is studied.Focus on docked and dock less bike sharing, the statistical analysis of Nanjing Jiangbei public bicycle dataset and Mobike dataset is conducted. The law of mobility distribution is mined,as well as users' individual riding pattern.Based on the prediction of node mobility, the cluster-assisted data dissemination mechanism is proposed, which solve the problem of the scenario where the message's destination set is known and the strategy of selecting relay for the message is needed. The main research work includes:1)In the scenario of docked bike sharing system,a station clustering method based on geographical location and urban area function is proposed, followed by the construction of cluster model of bike sharing systems. The macroscopic spatiotemporal distribution law of docked bikes' mobility and microscopic users' individual riding regularity is analyzed based on Nanjing Jiangbei public bicycle dataset.2)Based on the statistical analysis results,a machine learning method is applied to predict the traffic flow between the station clusters.Based on the regularity of the user's riding preference,a two-stage prediction method for users destination station cluster is proposed.3)Based on the result of destination prediction, the correlation between destination clusters and the message's target set is measured. The metric to evaluate a user's relay ability to specific message is proposed combining the measured correlation and the importance of destination cluster in the network. On this basis, mobility prediction based data dissemination with station clusters,MPD-SC,is proposed.Experiments are conducted on ONE simulator to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm.4)In the scenario of dock less shared bikes, the active road segments are extracted to act as the role of stations.Same concepts of the docked bikes are applicable to the dock less bikes with this conversion. On this basis, mobility prediction based data dissemination with road segments clusters,MPD-RSC,is proposed.Experiments are conducted on ONE simulator to evaluate its performance.Utilizing bikes' mobility and regularity of mobility,a data dissemination mechanism in the bike sharing system is proposed. The results of simulation verified the performance of proposed algorithm, which provides an efficient solution to the data dissemination problem in bike sharing scenarios.
