As an energy conversion device,DC/DC converter is widely used in communication equipment,electronic devices and automotive systems because of its simple design and low cost.DC/DC converter is an important part of power electronics,and also provides power conversion function for many electronic devices.Therefore,DC/DC converter as the research object has been a role in promoting the development of electronic systems.In particular,the stability of DC/DC converters lays a solid foundation for the application of DC/DC converters.DC/DC converter is a typical switching discontinuous system.Due to the existence of "switching",the DC/DC converter system contains both continuous variable and discrete variable.The interaction between continuous variables and discrete variables results in various coupling behaviors.The dynamic behavior of the system becomes very complex,and many non-linear phenomena usually occur.Therefore,DC/DC converter is a kind of system with strong non-linearity.Compared with continuous system,discontinuous system is more accurate and can reflect the real situation of DC/DC converter system,but it is more complex to study.It often requires modern mathematical tools and complex controller design methods,which also challenges the existing stability criterion.Therefore,the stability analysis of DC/DC converter based on discontinuous control theory has theoretical value and practical significance.In recent years,with the development and improvement of the stability analysis theory of DC/DC converters,many achievements provide new methods and ideas for the stability analysis of DC/DC converters.Discontinuous control theory is based on discontinuous control systems,which is developed by discontinuous systems.The stability analysis theory of discontinuous control has good universality.This paper applies the discontinuous control theory to the stability analysis of DC/DC converter,and obtains the general exponential stability analysis method of DC/DC converter.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the exponential stability criterion of periodic switching system and intermittent control system with discontinuous control,the exponential stability analysis method for DC/DC converter is obtained by taking inductive continuous conduction mode(CCM)Buck converter and Boost converter as example.In addition,the exponential stability criterion can be used to calculate the circuit parameters of exponentially stable DC/DC converters.The exponential stability criterion of discontinuous control provides a new idea for the design and stability analysis of DC/DC converters.(2)The discontinuous controller of DC/DC converter is designed by Lyapunov method.This controller can ensure the global exponential stability of DC/DC converter when it works.The exponential stability analysis method of the discontinuous control theory is used to analyze the exponential stability of the system,which proves the reliability of the method.Finally,the correctness of the method is verified by simulation and circuit experiments.
