In the era of rapid information development,Chinese characters have diffracted many deep-level images that are more in line with the characteristics of the times and cultural heritage in a diversified form.In the long history of the Chinese nation,the Chinese characters have been used and have played a special symbolic role,and are still the main medium for transmit ting information to this day.With the continuous promotion of modern technology,the image representation of Chinese characters has been fully combined with modern design,and new design works have been continuously created.The traditional Chinese characters can continue to innovate and carry forward the inheritance.This is not only a full reflection of the internal design image and aesthetic consciousness of modern design,but also a more appropriate refle ction of the internal emotional appeal of Chinese characters and even Chinese culture.In today’s society,modern design affects human life in every aspect.Exploring the application of the image of Chinese characters in current design can not only provide a reference for the concept of modern design,but also promote the inheritance of Chinese characters and even Chinese culture.The exchange of words provides valuable experience."Form" and "meaning" are important representations of Chinese characters.They complement each other,"shape" is the embodiment of "meaning",and "meaning" is the sublima tion of "shape".The "meaning" of Chinese characters is the result of the viewer’s activity of generating thinking consciousness through appreciation of the "shape".After the precipitation of history and culture,"meaning" gradually transformed into the ideology of a specific era,leading a certain trend and expressing certain social phenomena.Dialectical philosophical ideas of "form" and "meaning" exist in people’s perception.Under the combined effect of people’s physiological perception,psychological activity,and social needs,"form" and "meaning" form the design style of "expressing meaning with form,expressing emotion with meaning",reflecting the aesthetic appeal and reflecting the trend of modern design.Interpret the harmoni ous beauty of Chinese characters in modern design.On the basis of many years of work,the author has a deep sense of the topic of the appli cation and development of text in modern design.Through the research of this topic,Iuse an alysis in this paper,introduce my own participation cases,consult materials and documents,and conduct field visits.Means,try to analyze the meaning of the image representation of trad itional Chinese characters,summarize the design techniques of the image representation of ch aracters,analyze the performance of the image of Chinese characters in graphic design,envir onmental design and related fields,hoping to have a deeper understanding of their own resear ch theory,It is also trying to provide some reference and inspiration for the research and appl ication of modern design,the purpose is to inherit and spread the excellent cultural and traditi onal elements of Chinese characters...
