Research On Infield Space Design Of Comprehensive Arena Combining With Ice Sports

Under the background of striving to achieve the development goal of "300 million people participate in winter sports" and Beijing bid for the 2022 winter Olympics successfully,China has continuously issued relevant policies aim to develop the winter sports industry.As the basic guarantee for the masses to participate in winter sports,the construction of winter sport-facilities cannot be ignored.The comprehensive arena combined with ice sports,it can hold ice sports and has a great significance of make up for the shortage of dedicated ice rinks.Ice and land sports have their own characteristics,the combinati on and collision of them will certainly pose some new challenges for design of arena.This article aims to make it meet the use of ice and land sports by design methods,reduce energy consumption and operating costs as far as possible while improving the o perational efficiency of the arena.Infield space is the core of stadium,it is also the key area of the conversion between ice and land sports.Firstly,the article analyzes the development of sports competition and performance industry in China,and the operation of domestic comprehensive arenas,the current situation of ice sport-facilities and modern technical facilities through the collection of network data and information,clarify the advantages of comprehensive arenas combined with ice sports.By comparing the characteristics of ice and land sports need of sites,athletes’ rooms,equipment rooms.The article summarizes the restriction factors of the infield space design,and lays a foundation for the case study and design strategies.Secondly,this article through network and field research in domestic has been built and put into use to hold the ice sport through analyzing the comprehensive arena,and according to the selection of arena location,ice sports situation and choose five arenas as investigation cases.Based on the restrictive factors in the previous design of such arenas,through interviews,measure and take photos from the site of the arena,athlete’s room and accessory occupancy to summarize such facility operation and the success of the infield space design and deficiency,determine the design goal of arena infield space,as the reference of fourth chapter that puts forward the design strategy.Finally,combined with the investigation of the built arenas in China,we can learn from the reasonable part of the arenas and solve the problems faced by the arenas.In accordance with the principle of economy and application,the design strategy is put forward by taking into account the use of ice and land sports,incorporating special functions into the athletes’ rooms,and elaborating the layout of special equipment rooms,in order to provide enlightenment for the design,development and practice of arena space in the future.
