A company invented a new type of scaffolding,namely a self-locking ball joint steel tube scaffolding,this paper studies the load-bearing characteristics of self-locking ball joint steel tube scaffolding.Through the bearing capacity test of the self-locking ball joint steel tube scaffold unit frame and the numerical simulation of the whole frame,the ultimate bearing capacity and destruction characteristics of the scaffold unit frame are obtained,and the bearing capacity characteristics of the whole scaffold and the influencing factors of the bearing capacity are obtained.The study draws the following main conclusions:(1)Through the analysis of the unit frame test,it can be known that the frame body has better bearing capacity characteristics.The deformation of the frame body is first manifested in the bending of the upper pole of the frame body,and the damage of the frame body is manifested in the weak part of the frame diagonal rod.The diagonal rods of the frame body greatly damage the bearing capacity of the frame body,so that the frame body is no longer safe to carry.(2)By comparing and analyzing the buckling modes of the scaffold considering two different connection modes of the rigid node and the semi-rigid node,it can be seen that the first-order buckling modes of the rigid connection and the semi-rigid connection are considered to be similar,mainly represented by bending buckling along the weak stiffness,but the other buckling modes are different.Comparing and analyzing the bearing capacity of scaffolds with two different connection methods,we can see that,compared with considering rigid connection,the ultimate bearing capacity of the semi-rigid connection of the node decreases significantly,and the higher the height of the frame in a certain height range,the greater the difference in the ultimate bearing capacity of the two different connection methods.(3)Through the analysis of influencing factors,it can be known that the ultimate bearing capacity of the frame body is greatly affected by the stiffness of the nodes,and the stiffness of the connected nodes must be ensured when the frame is erected.In the erection of the frame,it is necessary to select the appropriate erection height and the erection step distance,pay attention to the negative correlation between the two on the bearing capacity of the frame,effectively use the two ways of reducing the transverse distance or increasing the number of spans to enhance the transverse rigidity of the frame,and reasonably arrange the diagonal tie rod,especially the efficient role of the vertical diagonal tie rod,to improve the bearing capacity of the frame.
