With the rapid development of China's economy,economic and cultural exchanges between various industries at home and abroad are increasing.Many cities have realized that the convention and exhibition industry has become an engine of regional development.Therefore,a large number of convention and exhibition buildings have been built to meet the needs of local economic development and cultural exchanges.demand.Convention and exhibition buildings are accompanied by the development and development of modern industrial and commercial economy.With the advancement of the times,the level of architectural design and construction has increased,and people have gradually put forward new requirements for the external form of convention and exhibition buildings.Today's convention and exhibition buildings no longer resemble the form of early industrial plants,but instead pay more attention to the artistry of their external forms.Therefore,in recent years,many cities in China have begun to explore and create external forms suitable for local convention and exhibition buildings.Due to the particularity of its function and structure,the exhibition building will inevitably form a unique external form.However,our country is vast,the history and culture,climate environment,and economic development vary from place to place,and each city and construction land has its own characteristics.These regional factors will have an important influence on the expression of the external form of the exhibition building.Therefore,it is necessary to consider the external form design of the exhibition building from a regional perspective.However,at present,the related researches on exhibition building in China mainly focus on the functional diversity,the economics of structural technology,and the flexibility of space.However,there are few regional studies on architectural forms,and no systematic theoretical results have been formed.Therefore,based on a large number of analysis of actual domestic and international exhibition building projects,the research aims to find out the characteristics and changes of the external form design of regional buildings with regional characteristics and summarize the regional design methods of the external form of exhibition buildings.First,through a large amount of literature analysis,case comparison and actual project analysis,the development history and current situation of domestic and international exhibition buildings are sorted out.Then,from the perspective of architectural morphology and the function of the exhibition building,the characteristics of the external form of the exhibition building are analyzed,and the external form of the exhibition building is analyzed from the perspectives of city and site,culture and times,natural environment,town culture,and material technology Influencing factors.Finally,from the aspects of city and site,natural environment,regional culture,materials and structure,and multi-industry integration,the regional design strategy of the external form of the exhibition building is proposed.Taking the actual project of Shandong Lintong Convention and Exhibition Center as an example,from a regional perspective The process of designing the exterior form of the building is discussed.From the perspective of regionality,this article explores the regional design strategy of the external form of exhibition buildings based on a large number of actual cases at home and abroad,with a view to providing reference for the future engineering practice of such buildings.
