With the rapid development of computer technology,facing the problems of airport’s overall acquisition and local observation that are not conducive to the scene,civil aviation-related companies,training institutions,and universities urgently need computer technology to provide them with convenient and effective solutions.In order to quickly display the rich and realistic airport landscape and simulate more effectively the various situations of the airport scene,an implementation method of airport visual simulation is proposed.According to the requirements of system function and performance,the system architecture is designed,the airport 3D scene visualization system is built based on Java3 D,the visualization of the airport landscape is realized.Firstly,the system’s functional requirements and performance requirements are analyzed.On this basis,the feasibility and difficulties are analyzed,and the technical route of 3D visual scene design and system function design is determined.Then,the advantages and functions of the X-Plane flight simulator are analyzed,and its key landscape data(3D model files,overlay polygon files,and airport core data files)are researched,a landscape database is built,and the system is used to build a 3D airport.The landscape data required for the scene is managed.Secondly,3D visual scene is designed by using Java3 D API,the advantages and related concepts of Java3 D API are analyzed,program interface is designed to import external model files,Java3 D behavior and interaction,geometric transformation,view,lighting and other core technologies are used to complete application development.The key steps of scene construction are involved in the process,so that the interactive airport 3D scene has better observation effect.Thirdly,according to the four main functional requirements of the system: the rapid display of the three-dimensional scene of the airport,the selection of the observation mode,the multi-screen display and the interactive control model,the system function is designed.The rapid display of airport 3D scenes is realized by establishing view branches and content branches,two observation modes of roaming mode and tower mode are realized by controlling the observation matrix,multi-screen display is realized by building a hardware environment and system development,precise control of the specified model in the scene is realized by controlling the interaction of the geometric transformation matrix and the mouse and keyboard.Finally,according to the system functional requirements and performance requirements,the airport 3D scene visualization system is tested.The system test results show that the system can quickly build airport landscapes that conform to the actual terrain.It has functions such as perspective adjustment,model control,and multi-screen display.Waiting for the secondary development of airport scene surveillance,it has high practicability and flexibility,and provides a feasible solution for airport scene simulation.
