The main control room(abbreviated as MCR),as a place for centralized monitoring in nuclear power plants, plays a vital role in the safe and reliable operation of nuclear power plants. With the rapid development of computer technology, the main control room of nuclear power plants is developing from the traditional analog main control room to the digital main control room.As an important part of the main control room, the alarm system has important research significance..This paper proposes an alarm system that combines an MFM(Multilevel Flow Model)and an expert knowledge system platform, and then applies the system to the historical data of nuclear power plants. The results show that using this alarm system can help determine the root cause and achieve the purpose of alarm compression. This article mainly builds the alarm system from the following aspects:1)Combined with the design standards of the nuclear power plant alarm system, the method of functional model modeling is selected, and the modeling elements, semantics, and causality of the functional model are summarized, and guidance is given to the special situations encountered in modeling.2)Taking the nuclear power plant system as the research object under steady-state conditions, and selecting the coolant system as a case,an MFM(Multi-level Flow Model)of the coolant system was built on the alarm system platform based on the expert system, and the function of the platform was tested. The results It shows that the causal chain of alarm events can be derived quickly and accurately, the operator's operation can be reasonably guided, and the results of the operator's actions can also be predicted. This topic studies the alarm system, and establishes a causal dependency relationship between the typical system functional model and the functional state under the steady-state operating conditions of the nuclear power plant, and conducts power plant alarm events including power plant equipment status changes caused by manual operator control.Causal reasoning to identify deviations from operations and their impact on power plant operation goals and functions, and to achieve intelligent operation supervision.
