Research On Spatial Morphology Design Of Umbrella Structures Building

In view of the continuous emergence of domestic large-span buildings,such as stations,airport,markets as well as other buildings,the form of umbrella structure is proposed,and it is a special type of structure for comparative research.This article first defines the definition of umbrella structure,clarifies the classification of umbrella structure and the historical background and clues of its development.Through the analysis of a series of typical cases of umbrella structures at home and abroad and the comparison of umbrella types and technical strategies of different architects,the analysis and function division of umbrella structure types are completed.The article then focuses on the spatial morphological characteristics of the umbrella structure from the structural clues and form clues: In terms of structural clues,the spatial morphological characteristics of three typical umbrella-shaped structures,such as hyperbolic parabolic concrete thin-shell umbrella,tree-shaped umbrella,and membrane-structured umbrella,as well as their shape finding,type selection,and optimization strategy,were sorted out.In terms of form clues,the types are classified from the aspects of monomer form and combination type.The article analyzes the scale rule of the umbrella structure monomer,clarifies the combination relationship between the umbrella structure units.And from the section and roof form of the combined structure,side margin space,connection and lighting methods,etc.,it expounds its relationship with the shape of spatial morphology of umbrella structure.Finally,from the five perspectives of structural aesthetics,green ecology,modular construction,site creation,and structuralism and metabolism,discuss the relationship with the architectural shape of the umbrella structure,further explore the application prospects of the umbrella structure.And systematically elaborate the design strategy of umbrella structure building under specific function type and specific environmental conditions,in order to stimulate the new possibility of the combination of structural technology and architectural aesthetics in architectural creation,and provide ideas and reference for the design of archi-neering.
