Research On Spatial Expansion And Efficiency Of Chongqing Metropolitan Area

Nowadays,the competition between countries and regions has developed from the competition between single cities to the competition between urban continuous belts or urban agglomerations.The sixth meeting of the central finance and Economics Commission proposed that: to promote the construction of the two city economic circle in Chengdu Chongqing area,an important growth pole of high-quality development should be formed in the West.As one of the important growth poles of the two city economic circle,Chongqing metropolitan area is experiencing the process of rapid expansion of space scale and great change of space structure.Mountain cities usually develop in a "multi center,group" way.But in recent years,with the progress of transportation infrastructure and science and technology,the spatial evolution of urban areas in mountain cities has gradually broken through bridges and rivers and developed to more peripheral areas.What are the characteristics and directions of spatial expansion and whether the expansion efficiency is better? How to achieve better future development? More support from academic research is needed.Urban spatial expansion is one of the important characteristics in the process of urbanization.From the macro perspective,it is the dynamic process of urban land expansion,and from the micro perspective,it is the process of different types of agricultural land conversion to construction land.The spatial expansion of metropolitan area is faced with the problems of expansion direction,expansion form,expansion strategy and ecological effect brought by expansion.In this context,the research on the spatial expansion and efficiency of Chongqing metropolitan area not only conforms to the needs of national sustainable development,but also provides decision-making basis for the scientific management and planning of Chongqing metropolitan area,which is of great significance to the spatial expansion layout and expansion mode of domestic mountain cities.Based on the historical and planning data,social and economic statistics data,remote sensing interpretation data,landcover data and other big data from 1997 to 2017,this study combs the evolution process of Chongqing's spatial expansion since the direct administration of the central government,and reveals the spatial scope and spatial and temporal characteristics of Chongqing's spatial expansion in 1997-2017 by using GIS spatial analysis and mathematical statistics.On this basis,from natural factors The paper analyzes the driving factors of the spatial expansion of the metropolitan area by the factors of humanity,economy and government,selects the efficiency factors of the spatial expansion of the metropolitan area by the methods of econometric statistics such as efficacy function,establishes the index system for comprehensive analysis,and then reveals the coordination degree of the spatial expansion of Chongqing metropolitan area since it was directly under the central government.Finally,based on the coordination degree of the expansion,it puts forward Control measures.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the perspective of space,the development process of the nine main urban areas in Chongqing is also the growth process of the central urban area in Chongqing.With the improvement of economic development level and urban infrastructure construction level,there will still be a trend of expansion.From the perspective of time,Chongqing urban area can be divided into two stages: the embryonic stage of 1997-2007 and the expansion stage of 2007-2017.In the embryonic stage,the urban area has a high level During the expansion period,the metropolitan area has the characteristics of gradually improving the system of urban division of labor and functional positioning,and further expanding the urban space.(2)From the perspective of the expansion direction of Chongqing metropolitan area,the spatial differentiation is obvious.From 1997 to 2007,the main expansion direction of Chongqing metropolitan area is the West and the southwest.From 2007 to 2017,the main expansion direction of Chongqing metropolitan area is the East and the northeast.The construction focus of the metropolitan area is gradually shifted from the west to the north.From the perspective of the spatial expansion characteristics of Chongqing metropolitan area,it shows the trend of transition from the external natural expansion to the extension jump expansion,and the expansion mode is mainly the combination of the internal close expansion and the edge sparse expansion.(4)In 1997,the comprehensive efficiency score of spatial expansion efficiency of Chongqing metropolitan area was 0.2399,while in 2017,the score of spatial expansion efficiency of Chongqing metropolitan area was 0.4398,an increase of 0.1999.From 1997 to 2017,the overall ecological efficiency of Chongqing metropolitan area increased by 0.3232,the economic efficiency by 0.2313,the social efficiency by 0.2314,and the overall score of spatial expansion efficiency from incongruity to basic coordination.In addition,through the gray correlation analysis,it is concluded that spatial expansion has strong coupling relationship with economic,ecological and social factors,and the impact of spatial expansion on the healthy development of urban areas is gradually deepened.(4)The spatial expansion of metropolitan area is the result of natural,human,economic and policy factors.Natural factors are the important factors that affect the direction and form of spatial expansion of metropolitan area.Human factors are the main factors of spatial expansion development layout and location selection.Economic factors are the first driving force of spatial expansion,and government decision-making plays an important role in spatial expansion.
