In order to explore Flow characteristics of the liquid in the pump chamber of the solid-liquid two-phase flow centrifugal pump and the change rule of axial force,the XUY-200-150-250 semi-open impeller centrifugal pump was selected as the research object.Using CFX software,the SST turbulence model was used to calculate the internal flow field of the clean water pump,and the Particle model and the heterogeneous model were used to perform the numerical calculation of the solid-liquid two-phase flow field of the centrifugal pump.Based on the consistency of the numerical calculation performance curve and the test results,the research on the liquid flow characteristics and the axial force variation characteristics in the pump chamber is carried out.The flow field of the clean water pump is calculated.The result shows that the liquid pressure in the pump chamber of the clean water pump changes little in the axial direction,increases gradually from the inside to the outside in the radial direction,and is not evenly distributed in the tangential direction.With the increase of the flow rate,The pressure value gradually decreases and tends to be evenly distributed along the tangential direction.The average pressure of the liquid in the pump cavity in four directions is approximately parabolic along the radial direction.For the liquid velocity in the pump cavity,when the flow rate is small,the tangential velocity and radial velocity of the liquid in the pump chamber in different directions are quite different.As the flow rate increases,the velocity difference in different directions is getting smaller.At the same time,the original pump chamber clearance was changed five times,and the effect of the pump chamber clearance on the pump chamber liquid flow and axial force is analyzed.The results showed that when the pump chamber clearance gradually increased from 23.9mm to 48.9mm,the liquid pressure value in the pump chamber has a significant increase trend.The change of the pump chamber clearance has little effect on the axial force T1 and the dynamic reaction force T2;the cover plate force T3 increases with the increase of the pump chamber clearance.The total axial force increases with the increase of the pump chamber the total axial force changes obviously.But when the pump cavity gap continues to increase from 38.9mm,the total axial force does not change much.The solid-liquid two-phase flow of the centrifugal pump is calculated and the result shows:unlike the clean water pump,the liquid pressure of the pump chamber in the solid-liquid two-phase flow centrifugal pump is approximately linearly distributed in the radial direction.The pressure value of the liquid in the pump chamber increases with the increase of the particle volume fraction,and decreases with the increase of the particle size.When the particle size remains same and the particle volume fraction increases continuously,the axial force T1 doesn’t change much,the dynamic reaction force T2 keeps decreasing,the cover force T3 keeps increasing,and the total axial force T keeps increasing;When the particle volume fraction remains same,when the particle size continues to increase,the axial force T1 doesn’t change much,the dynamic reaction force T2 increases,the cover force T3 decreases,and the total axial force T decreases.
