As a common Marine structure,there are various types of breakwater,including vertical type,slope type,floating type,permeable type and so on.However,with the development of ocean engineering in recent years,the traditional structure of the breakwater is no longer suitable for the development of ocean engineering,so the development of new type of breakwater is very necessary,which has a broad application prospect.By means of numerical simulation,this paper studies the hydrodynamic characteristics of V-type breakwater under the condition of positive incident and oblique incident,analyzes the distribution of wave height in the shield area of the breakwater,and analyzes the variation of the wake vortex of the breakwater under different working conditions,which provides a theoretical basis for the application of V-type breakwater.Through the research and analysis of this paper,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)In the paper,the wave height distribution in the shield area of the breakwater is analyzed in detail.When the wave is incident in a positive direction,the wave height distribution in the shield area of the breakwater has symmetry.In addition,due to the influence of wave diffraction,there are regions with a large wave height on the axis of the shield area.In the case of oblique incidence,there is no symmetry in the wave height distribution,but the region with a larger wave height still exists due to the influence of diffraction.The relative wavelength has a great influence on the distribution of wave height in the shield area.However,under different relative water depths,the distribution of wave height in the shield area is basically the same,only changing the size of the wave height.(2)The vortex around the breakwater is analyzed in detail,and it is found that there are obvious shear layers on the wall of the breakwater and obvious flow separation phenomenon.With the wave propagation,the obvious vortex structure will be formed at the end of the breakwater.The wake energy is positively correlated with the performance of the breakwater.The larger the wake energy is,the better performance of the breakwater will be.(3)In order to analyze vortex field around the breakwater qualitatively,the wavelet transform of the vortex identification method is used to deal with velocity field,and the vortex field under different conditions are compared.The relationship between the energy of the wake vortex and the relative wavelength and the relative water depth of the breakwater under different conditions are fitted,and the dimensionless vortex energy is negatively correlated with the relative wavelength and positively correlated with the relative water depth.
