Abstract/Summary:
In allusion to the north of Dayao Bay's breakwater,considering the berthing works' actual demand in the back of the breakwater,we should change the comb-type caisson breakwater into the waterproof type.Though the physical model test,at the beginning we study the point pressure on the flange plate and the plate under the breast wall of the waterproof comb-type breakwater without any engineering measures,we find the point pressure increases notably, especially in the upper part of the flange plate and the back of the plate under the breast wall because the increasing of the point pressure causes that there has no enough partial pressure.So, in order to reduce the partial of the point pressure,we must take some engineering measures.In allusion to the question above the text,three types of engineering measures-open the long hole on the plate under the breast wall,put the slope breakwater in the cavity,add the 'å·¥'-type baffle plate on the plate under the breast wall-are proposed by the article.In allusion to the four working condition,though the physical model test,we do a series of test to study the distribution of the pressure under the four working condition of the waterproof comb-type breakwater,the effect of the relative wave height(H/d) to the wave loads of the waterproof comb-type breakwater is analyzed.The change laws of the synchronous distributing rules of spot pressure with relative wave height(H/d) are studied.So we compare to the test result of the three types engineering measures.From integrating physical model tests,results are as follows:(1) Within the range of the tests,the point pressure on the flange plate and the plate under the breast wall of the waterproof comb-type breakwater without any engineering measures increases notably.(2) Within the range of the tests,the regularities of distribution of the law of pressure on the flange plate and the plate under the breast wall are almost same between taking the three types engineering measures,and not taking any engineering measures.The greater of the point pressure belongs to the upper part of the flange plate and the back of the plate under the breast wall,in addition,the positive point pressure is greater than the negative point pressure.So we can only consider the positive point pressure in the effect of the relative wave height(H/d) to the wave loads. (3) Within the range of the tests,three types of engineering measures-open the long hole with the plate under the breast wall,put the slope breakwater in the cavity,add the'å·¥'-type baffle plate with the plate under the breast wall-have an effect on the short wave height,but have no effect on the long wave height.(4) Within the range of the tests,to the'å·¥'-type baffle plate with the plate under the breast wall of the waterproof comb-type breakwater,when the gap of'å·¥'-type baffle plate with the flange plate is blocked.then this could reduce the pressure of the upper part of the flange plate and the back of the plate under the breast wall.
