With the development of automobile industry,automobile lightweight has become an important development goal of major engine plants.More and more sheet metal parts are replaced by plastic parts,which has many advantages.Thus a series of problems such as assembly time,service life and performance are affected.In this paper,the radiator water chamber of Nissan Xuanyi automobile engine produced by Jiangsu Yihang Automobile Parts Technology Co.,Ltd.is taken as the research object,the structure of the water chamber is improved and designed,and the Moldflow software is used for simulation analysis;at the same time,Taguchi test design and Moldflow software are used to select the optimal parameter combination.First of all,the causes of the deformation of plastic products are analyzed,and then the four aspects of raw materials,product structure,mold structure and injection process are analyzed.Finally,two factors,product structure and injection process,were selected to study the deformation of water chamber.Secondly,use CATIA software to design the wall thickness of the water chamber,and then use Moldflow to analyze the mold flow to find that the change in wall thickness can improve the deformation.Based on the verification of the wall thickness and CATIA,the design of the internal and external reinforcement of the water chamber is carried out.Finally,it is concluded that the internal and external reinforcement can reduce the deformation of the water chamber from 1.609mm to 1.316mm.Finally,based on the optimized product structure,the effects of factors such as solution temperature,holding pressure,injection pressure,and injection rate on the deformation of the water chamber were studied.Taguchi test design is adopted,and the deformation value of each factor level is obtained based on Moldflow analysis.The difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the range is judged to obtain the largest effect of the holding pressure.The comprehensive analysis of the F value significance test of the variance determines that the solution temperature is 280?,holding pressure is 30MPa,injection pressure is 95mpa,injection rate is 55cm3/s,and the deformation of water chamber is reduced to 1.089mm.
