The generator breaker is the protecting equipment installed between the generator and the transformer booster.It not only protects the generator and the main transformer but also exerts positive influence on the starting and stopping of the generator,the maintenance of equipment and improving the flexibility and reliability of the generator.Due to the special working conditions,the generator is required of high reliability.repulsion mechanism,possessing advantages of simple structure,fewer components,high reliability,long working life and operational centrality,has become one of the focuses in the switch field.This paper mainly makes research on the construction of the repulsion mechanism,which works well with the 17.5k V/10000A/31.5k A high capacity vacuum generator circuit.This article first introduces the working principle of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism,and mathematically models and analyzes the dynamic characteristics of the designed electromagnetic repulsion operation.Then the finite element software Ansoft Maxwell was used to simulate and analyze the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism model.After,Ansoft Maxwell software was used to simulate and analyze the influence of different parameters,and the design guidelines were obtained to provide theoretical guidance for the design of the prototype.According to the design requirements,the prototype was tested,and then the mechanical characteristics of the designed prototype of the repulsion mechanism and the circuit breaker were tested.During the test,it was found that the circuit breaker of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism had a large closing bounce,and a new high-speed buffer device was designed to solve this problem.The cushioning performance of the high-speed buffering device is an important part of the design of the driving force of the opening of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism,and its buffering capacity restricts the selection of the driving force of the opening.Therefore,this paper studies the high-speed buffer device suitable for electromagnetic repulsion mechanism.Through the analysis of the influencing factors of the circuit breaker contact bounce time,the measures to reduce the closing bounce time are summarized,and then the design of high-speed buffer to reduce the closing bounce time is proposed.Combined with the characteristics of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism,special requirements are placed on the buffer,which requires both a small restoring force and a large compression process output.A polyurethane buffer was designed according to the requirements and the shortcomings were found through experiments.On this basis,an elastic clay buffer was designed to meet the high-speed buffer requirements of the repulsion mechanism.At the same time,the buffer capacity of this high-speed buffer device was verified by experimental means.
