Highway tunnels increase the risk of driving while saving people's travel time.When the illumination in the tunnel is insufficient,the "black hole effect" and "white hole effect" are easily caused by the high brightness difference between the inside and outside the tunnel,which makes the driver unable to judge the road conditions and cause an accident.Therefore,most of the tunnels are illuminated with high brightness for a long time whether there is a car or not,which causes a huge loss of electricity and greatly increases the operating cost of the tunnel.In order to achieve maximum energy saving under the premise of ensuring driver safety,this paper designs a tunnel lighting control system based on fuzzy PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative)algorithm.Firstly,by studying the “Guidelines for Design of Lighting of Highway Tunnels(China)”,the tunnel lighting is divided into multiple lighting segments.According to the data provided in the standard,the relationship between the safety brightness of different lighting segments and the realtime brightness outside the tunnel is calculated.Secondly,the tunnel lighting control system is designed.The hardware part is based on the STM32 chip and the RS485 bus to design the light environment detection equipment,dimming driver and eight-circuit switch.The software part is based on the.NET framework and SQLite database.This control system takes "vehicle in,light brightens;vehicle out,light darkens" as the tunnel illumination control strategy?Thirdly,the fuzzy PID algorithm is studied and combined with the brightness control to establish the fuzzy variables and membership function of the fuzzy PID controller under the tunnel lighting model,and the fuzzy control rules are determined.Finally,after setting up the experimental environment,the system has carried out functional test and energy saving analysis,including the test of data accuracy of acquisition equipment,the test of lamp dimming effect,the simulation and test of fuzzy PID control effect.The test results show that the system can control the brightness in the tunnel in real time according to the change of brightness outside the tunnel,and the energy saving effect is good.
