Short take-off and vertical landing(STOVL)aircrafts can not only hover in the air under normal flight,but also have the advantages of fast maneuverability and unmatched advantages in battle.Thus,this type of aircraft has an extensive attention prospect in military field.STOVL's engine is the key to short take-off and vertical landing.This paper mainly researched modeling and controllers design methods of STOVL engine,and digital simulation verification was carried out.Firstly,the modeling method of STOVL engine was studied.The mathematical models of main engine,lift fan,roller nozzle and three bearing nozzle are established.In MATLAB/simulink environment,each module is built and simulated.Secondly,the research of the deflection implementation method of the three bearing deflection nozzle has been carried out.The nozzle's deflection control law model was built,the control law of each nozzle segment's rotation angle which ensures the axis of each nozzle segment in the same pitch surface during nozzle deflection process was obtained,and the suitable control law for the nozzle was preferred by comparing various kinds of nozzle deflection control law.Based on the deviation coupling control structure,the deflecting controller of three bearing swivel duct is designed to perform the angle deflecting control and synchronous deflecting control for the rotational process of the three-stage cylinders,and the deflecting model and deflecting controller of three bearing swivel duct are simulated and verification.Finally,the STOVL engine control technology is studied.The traditional PID controller is designed to control the pitch,roll,yaw and height of the engine.The fuzzy controller is designed to control the attitude of the engine in real time when the engine is disturbed.The fault-tolerant controller is designed to keep the engine stable by controlling the lift fan when the nozzle of the engine is stuck.The feasibility of the designed controller is verified by simulation.
