During the 13th years in China,the economy of Pujiang develops rapidly,which in turn causes increase of the population and travel demand in Pujiang city.However,there are some problems,such as irrational structure of public transport network,low coverage of network lines and low level of public transport service,further worsening the city traffic problems in Pujiang and increasing the pressure of city transit systems as some cosmopolitan cities.It thus appears that modifying the location and route of city transit,improving traffic condition and optimizing the structure of city transit admit of no delay.Therefore,with the aim of improving the efficiency of city transit system and service quality,the research focuses on urban transit system,investigates the operating characteristics of public traffic and transit in Pujaing city and optimizes the urban transit networks.The data acquired through field survey are used to analyze the theoretical foundation of public transit networks optimization,including the composition,layout forms and optimization content of the public transit network and to investigate the factors affecting the transit network optimization.Then aimed at acquiring the best transit network,principles and critical objectives of the evaluation system are proposed,dissembled and then combined to investigate its characteristics,analyzing the problems and establishing the optimization model of Pujiang's transit network.Through mathematics deformation,the complexity of the model decreases.Finally,by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several metaheuristics,genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model.Real survey data of Pujiang city are used to verify the model.The results show that the model can effectively solve the problem of Pujiang's transit network's optimization,thereby laying the theoretical foundation for further planning transit networks in Pujiang city.
