In recent years,China’s wind power industry has developed rapidly,with the installed number and single machine capacity increasing year by year.In 2009,the number of new wind power generation projects and wind power generation capacity in China rose to the first place in the world,and the development of wind power has been getting faster and faster in the past decade,with more than 20 wind power plants built every year on average.With the rapid development of wind power industry,the safety problems of wind power units are increasing day by day.Verticality detection of wind power tower drum is a very important work of wind farm daily operation and maintenance,During the operation of the wind tower,as a result of the long-term reciprocating cycle load and the influence of the external force may cause the bottom of the tower drum foundation become loose,containing a top-down tilt and bending,could eventually lead to abnormal or dumping of fan operation,in order to prevent the occurrence of such accidents,reduce the loss of state property,need to detect the verticality of wind power tower drum regularly,and wind power tower drum verticality safety tests are mostly depend on the total station,with low efficiency,In addition,there is a lack of integrated software for preprocessing data of upper and lower section of dot cloud slice,adjustment calculation of perpendicularity detection and graph drawing,which leads to low working efficiency and is not conducive to perpendicularity detection of wind power tower tube.Therefore,this paper will study relevant algorithms for wind power tower tube perpendicularity detection,and develop a matching test system for perpendicularity detection and calculation,so as to improve detection efficiency and reduce cost output.Firstly,the 3D laser scanning technology is introduced to verticality detection of the wind power tower drum,for its fast,high precision and high resolution.the 3D laser scanning technology can complete the geometrical model of wind power tower,paint and shape vertical degree test and cross section in the dot cloud slice,data acquisition,calculation method for the treatment and use the original vertical degree of data processing.Secondly,in the wind power tower drum verticality detection through the comparative analysis of several kinds of spatial circle fitting method,the improved 3D spatial circle fitting method is proposed,compared with a flat circle fitting method,makes the model more accurate,and on the basis of the algorithm increase the point cloud slicing raw data preprocessing,which realize the point cloud slicing of coarse almost automatic,greatly improving the data quality,for more accurate determination of wind power tower vertical degree provides a strong protection.Finally,based on the improved three-dimensional space circle fitting method and the GUI design tool of MATLAB,the wind power tower tube verticality detection experiment system was developed,which realized the automatic visualization of three-dimensional result diagram,automatic drawing of offset vector diagram,automatic drawing of section vertical view and automatic template output of the final verticality calculation result.The automatic drawing of the result chart will completely remove the dependence on CAD and other drawing software and greatly reduce the manual intervention.The templated output of the calculation results will relieve the pressure of manual data collation.The experimental system is finally packaged into a portable software,which is convenient for users to perform cross-platform perpendicularity detection and calculation data processing.In the last part of the paper,the application test of the experimental system is carried out by using the data collected in the field,which verifies the method proposed in this paper,improves the detection efficiency of wind power tower tube,and makes the detection of wind power tower tube more automatic.
