The Cafe Interior Renovation Design Of Old Building Space

The culture of coffee has been gradually accepted by domestic consumers since it was introduced into the Chinese market.Cafes not only provide consumers with drinks with unique tastes,but also have various functions such as rest,negotiation,study and office work.Therefore,coffee shops have become a popular leisure and dining space.In the process of evolution and development,the cafe design also presents various ways.Among them,the cafe transformed from the old building space,on the one hand,keeps the life of the old building,and on the other hand,endows the cafe with historical and cultural connotation.In this paper,we take the cafe with the carrier of the old building space as the research object.In the process of carrying out its interior renovation design,firstly,we conduct a questionnaire survey on consumer groups to collect information from four aspects,namely,space needs,aesthetic needs,environmental needs and activity needs,so as to obtain the changes of consumer needs' in cafes.Then we analyzed the existing cafe space function layout and interior decoration design based on the field investigation,and we used the interior design principle to obtain the shortcomings of the cafe in the above two aspects,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the later scheme design and point out the direction.Based on the above investigation and analysis,we establish the transformation principles and strategies of this scheme to meet diversified demands in function,integrate regional culture in style,add new cultural features of cafes,and use innovative design methods to transform the space.In the final reconstruction design part,we display the space design from three parts:functional layout design,interior decoration design and physical environment improvement.Then the design scheme is deepened to solve the existing problems in the interior design of the original cafe.The key point of this project is to find the convergence point between cultural soft power and hard installation technology,so that the cafe can meet the functional needs while reflecting the resonance of humanistic spirit,realize economic,cultural and ecological values,and continue the cultural and historical features while benefiting the development and progress of the society.This design project,as a design guide for the future interior renovation of the cafe,will provide valuable help and reference for relevant researchers and people from all aspects of the industry.
