The intelligent development of power grid has become a new idea and direction of power grid development.Especially since the beginning of the 21 st century,after the power outage in the United States and Canada in 2003,the development of smart grids has begun to attract the attention of power departments around the world.In 2010,the intelligent development of China's power grid was written into the government work report and promoted as a national strategy,marking the beginning of China's intelligent power grid.Science the distribution network is an important part of the power grid,so it is very important to study the intelligence of the distribution system.In the context of such a large smart grid development,the intelligence of the distribution network is great valuable not only to the country,but also to the daily life of the people.Under the background,my thesis is to study a smart protection method for small power distribution system so that it can work better and more effectively,serve all sectors of society and realize its significance.This subject comes from the National Natural Science Foundation of China: research on the key issues of new thermo electromagnetic hybrid releases and networked selective protection of circuit breaker(project number: 51777129).This thesis mainly studies related issues in distribution network protection.First of all,based on the research of traditional small distribution network,through the review and research of relevant national standards and methods of relay protection,we can find the shortcomings of traditional relay protection methods and areas for improvement,and learn advanced algorithms for intelligent design afterwards lay the foundation.Then research the protection algorithm applicable to small distribution system and the whole control method of distribution system,build the small power distribution system,intelligent circuit breaker and intelligent circuit breaker communication model in the MATLAB/Simulink software environment.Simulate and study the faults of various settings in the built small distribution system.Observe the simulation results to understand the characteristics of the voltage and current in the line during various faults.Verify the intelligent protection method is effective on this basis.Then,design the intelligent circuit breaker controller with STM32F103 as the core,programmed according to the previous algorithm and control strategy to realize the real-time monitoring and protection of the power distribution system by the single-chip microcomputer.And make a response,cut off the circuit and send out an alarm signal.Then record the experimental data,compare the corresponding time and expected time,analyze the errors,finally verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the intelligent protection method and intelligent protection system designed this time.
