In recent years,in order to pursue a better and stronger level of school running and social impact,many universities and boarding schools in China have begun to carry out repairs and renovations to improve the life quality of teachers and students and the sense of honor at school.Among the renovation activity,the upgrading of living areas such as dormitories and canteens is the top priority of the campus reconstruction project.Hot water supply systems generally considered to be energy saving,green and in line with sustainable development policies including solar hot water system,hot water system by heat pump and hot water system with waste heat recovery as heat source in some conditional projects.Air source heat pump hot water system is the mainstream of green energy-saving hot water system in recent years.Air-source heat pump hot water system combined with electric-assisted heating or assisted by solar energy system in sunny areas has been widely applied in newly built hotels,apartments,dormitories of boarding schools,cafeterias and other projects with large hot water consumption and concentrated water using with good results.The heating efficiency of the air source heat pump unit is greatly affected by the outdoor temperature,and the energy efficiency(COP)in actual uses in the cold winter and hot summer areas fluctuates greatly throughout a year.In the coldest winter days,there is even frost,which requires additional energy consumption for frost capacity.The dining halls and dormitories of boarding schools are often in the coldest days of winter(during January and February of each New Year)when they are out of service or used in concentrated small areas.To some extent,they avoid the working condition of the lowest energy efficiency ratio of the air source heat pump energy hot water system,which is a better operating object of the air source heat pump hot water system.This paper for the common points of the design and calculation of heat pump hot water system summary analysis,and combined with the author's unit(architectural design and research institute of Zhejiang university)dominant part of Yuquan campus,Zijingang campus of Zhejiang university students' dormitory,canteen hot water system upgrade the actual engineering project,calculation and analysis of the various parameters of the hot water system and combining the unit using the data collected in everyday use or management,summarizes the analysis of air source heat pump hot water system in the boarding school concentrated the advantages of hot water system and energy saving.The results indicated that the air-source heat pump hot water system is simple to implement and can keep long-term stable operation.Thus,new installing or remodeling with air-source heat pump hot water system for university is suggested.When applied to student dormitories in Hangzhou city,the air source heat pump hot water system can ensure the system COP above 1.5 under unfavorable working conditions in winter,and the annual comprehensive COP is higher than 2.5.Obviously,it shows significant superiority over traditional hot water system in terms of energy saving and operating cost.The stable running of the air-source heat pump hot water system in the ZijinGang campus of Zhejiang University also proves that the air-source heat pump hot water system is worthy of promotion in the living areas of full-time universities and other locations with similar operating requirements.
