Nowdays,the forest healthy care industry in China is flourishing,which depends on kinds of forest healthy care space.As an important part of the forest healthy care space system,the planning and design of forest health care trails is the primary problem to be solved.The study discusses the necessity and importance of forest health care trails from the point of view of healthy care subject and object and the angle of national policy,social background,practice boom,summarizes the theory and practice studies,typical case studies of forest healthy care trails at home and abroad,and determines the contents,methods and significance of forest health care trails research.The study also elaborates the concept,function,type,classification and constituent elements of forest health care trails,combs the theoretical framework of forest health care trail design,improves the ontology research of forest health trail,and lays a theoretical foundation for the planning and design of forest health care trail.Next,the paper discusses the effects in all aspects and the planning and design method from multiple angles of forest health care trails from the following dimensions:visual landscape dimension,the historical and cultural dimension,the ecological environment dimension,the healthy cultivation activity dimension and the social and economic dimension,which lays a foundation for the research on the planning and design method of forest health care trails.Based on the above five dimensions,this paper puts forward five basic principles of line selection of forest health care trails,constructs the suitability evaluation system of line selection of forest health care trails,and puts forward the overall framework,planning procedure and detailed design rules of forest health care trails in terms of planning and design method.In conclusion,the research put the planning and design method of forest health care trails into the empirical study of qinyuan county,providing some reference for the later research of forest health care trails.
