City parks are the most important type of urban public green space.Their main functions are leisure,recreation and entertainment.The main service objects are urban residents.With the rapid development of cities,the functions of urban parks have been continuously expanded,and the leading functions of leisure,recreation and entertainment have been continuously deepened,and many special function partitions and products have been derived,such as targeted elderly activity areas and children.Activity areas,sports activity areas,etc.,but there are still some specific needs that have not yet been fully considered.For example,the specific activities that have emerged in the parks studied in this article-dog walking,unclear space delineation and imperfect zoning will lead to The dog walkers cannot perform normal activities and cause conflicts in use among different groups.At present,a few cities in China have tried to set up a dog walk area suitable for dog walkers and pet dogs in city parks.The rhythm and pressure of modern urban residents are increasing,and there are more and more needs at the spiritual level.Many empty nesters and wealthy families choose to keep pet dogs,which not only brings a lot of joy to life,but also gives irreplaceable Warmth and company.However,there are also many contradictions and conflicts in reality.For example,many dog walkers,regardless of whether the park allows pet dogs to enter,directly bring pet dogs to play,so there are many disputes between people and dogs that are seen on the Internet and the media.Therefore,is it necessary to set up an area for dog walkers and dogs in the city park-dog walk area?The corresponding planning and design countermeasures are issues that we need to think about further.This article firstly sorts out relevant concepts at home and abroad,and analyzes the concept connotations of pet dogs,dog walking behaviors,and dog walking zones.Secondly,it analyzes the necessity of building a dog walking zone.On this basis,two typical Hefei cities are available for walking.Field research and questionnaire surveys were conducted in the city parks of dogs,that is,the Peninsula Park in Luyang District and the Ambertan Park in Shushan District were taken as research objects to analyze the dog walking behaviors of dog walkers in the park,and the questionnaire survey was conducted in the two parks.Master the attitude of tourists towards the construction of dog walking area and the need for supporting facilities for dog walking behavior;use the visual bubble chart to analyze,generate continuous surface from the spatial position data of dog walking behavior obtained by the survey,and visualize various types of location data in space Based on the distribution relationship above,the dog walking behavior data is classified and spatially vectorized to summarize the hot spot and cold spot areas of the dog walking behavior spatial distribution.Finally,it analyzes and summarizes relevant successful cases at home and abroad,and puts forward planning and design countermeasures for the construction of dog walking area.The specific research results are as follows:(1)pet dogs are sensitive to smell and hearing,have poor heat dissipation system,and can defecate at a certain place,and have the psychology of curiosity,possession and territorial protection,fear,loneliness,etc.When they are in the outdoor activity environment,pet dogs like to run,have the characteristics of picking up food at will,biting,and barking in fright.(2)The pet dogs raised by residents in Hefei are mainly medium and small dogs,and the highest proportion is Teddy and Bichon,while the large dogs are the minority;most of the number of dogs will choose to walk early in the morning from 7:00 to 9:00 Walking dogs in the two time periods of 18:00 and 12:00 in the evening;the degree of demand for supporting infrastructure for dog walking is isolation facilities,service facilities and activity facilities in order;the dog breeders' demand for pet dog activity space is more urgent;Dog owners prefer semi-open spaces;natural landscape forms,lawn spaces and wooden fences.Through analysis and comparison of field visits to Peninsula Paradise,Amber Lake Scenic Spot in Hefei City,and Shenzhen Jingtianbei Pet Theme Park,it was found that the development of the Dog Walking Zone in Hefei is particularly backward,with many shortcomings,insufficient service facilities,and event facilities There are not many types,and the forms of rest and isolation facilities are relatively simple and monotonous.(3)It is recommended that the dog walk area should be set up with the inner edge of the park,or a park with a dog walk area opened independently in the park.It can be divided into two types:integrated layout and compact layout.The integrated layout area is usually more than 300 square meters,compact The layout is 100-300 square meters.The comprehensive layout can be set with entrance area,pet activity area,owner communication area,and logistics service area;the compact layout can only be set with:pet activity area,owner communication area,with some infrastructure.(4)the design of the dog-walking zone should follow the principles of people-oriented,functional,aesthetic,economic and ecological.To meet the needs of dog walkers and pet dogs,pet dog activity space should be set up:service facilities,activity facilities,leisure facilities.Five landscape elements should be planned in detail in the dog-walking are—terrain,garden road,plants,sketch and waterscape,which can enhance the landscape and comfort of the dog-walking area.The relevant research results of this paper truly feedback the usage of dog walkers in hefei urban parks,which is conducive to the theoretical exploration of the dog-walking area in domestic parks,and can improve the theoretical system of urban park planning to a certain extent,so as to improve the satisfaction of dog walkers and other people in parks.
