Low-maintenance Green Space Design Of Urban Roads

Urban road green space has always been a typical and important place in ur ban green space.With the advent of the new era and the spread of the theme of ecological civilization,under the background of rapid development in the p ast,urban roads and green spaces that have been repaired,rebuilt,and demolis hed are facing a new situation.The emergence of a series of high-maintenance face projects,blind reference to exotic tree species,"turf fever",and "flower sea fever" and other issues have not only caused a high economic burden on urban construction,but also broke the city's inherent style,Ignored the spiritu al and practical needs of local residents,causing a lot of social problems.Alth ough many ecological ideas and thoughts have been proposed in the past,man y of them lack practical effects and fail to form a complete system.Based on the above background and practical requirements,this paper applies low maint enance design to urban road green space to improve the gap in this area of green space design.The article first introduces relevant excellent cases based on relevant theories,literature,and normative standards,and elaborates the research content and sig nificance.After clarifying the importance of low-maintenance urban road green space,a detailed study of related theories and research methods provides a the oretical basis for subsequent research.The article has the following results:(1)The practical significance of low-maintenance green space.With the support o f background,research purpose,and significance,the current significance of lo w-maintenance green space is clarified;(2)Evaluation content of low-maintenan ce urban road green space.Clarify the three main bodies in the conservation p rocess:plant conservation,garden construction and facility conservation,and art ificial green space conservation management.The evaluation contents that affect its low maintenance are extracted separately.The low-maintenance evaluation f actors of the plant to be selected include:native tree species,anti-pollution,lo ng life span,resistance to pests and diseases,easy pruning,barren resistance,wintering ability,and extreme environment resistance;garden construction and f acility evaluation factors:durability,alternative,easy to clean,Damage preventi on,reasonable specifications,and energy saving;low maintenance evaluation fa ctors for manual management of green land:constitute a unified,coordinated n ode,reserve growth space,accurate data and safe space.(3)Design principles and strategies for low-maintenance urban road green space.Based on the evalu ation content,the design system was further extended,and four design principl es were derived:people-oriented,emphasis on practicality,respect for the site,sustainable development,highlighting the culture,highlighting the characteristics,clever use of resources,and innovative integration.And four types of low ma intenance design strategies:low intervention design,low manpower design,low maintenance design,low building material design.In this way,we provide ide as and solutions for design on different macro and micro scales.(4)Applicatio n of low-maintenance design in urban road green space design of Yuxi Road i n Hexian.Apply the design theory and method summarized in this article to th e actual case of greening Yuxi Road in Hexian to further demonstrate the feasi bility and improve the results It will provide a reference for the design of low-maintenance urban road green space in the future.
