Liner transportation is an important part of maritime cargo transportation. However, the current shipping market is not good. This is because on the one hand, overcapacity and weak interest rates have seriously reduced the profits of the shipping industry,so that shipping companies can only increase profits by using cost control methods; On the other hand, the emission regulations implemented by the International Maritime Organization on January 1,2020,the global sulphur content standard for marine fuel oil was reduced from 3.5%to 0.5%,compared with the use of ultra-low sulfur fuel oil for ships using ordinary heavy fuel oil The fuel cost of ships will increase significantly.Among the total liner operating costs, fuel costs account for a large proportion. It is possible to reduce liner fuel costs by optimizing fuel replenishment strategies. Therefore, research'on liner fuel replenishment strategies is very important for reducing shipping costs and increasing profits in the current situation. In a liner voyage, the fuel price of each port and the fuel consumption of each leg are stochastic, which brings a lot of uncertainty to the formulation.of the optimal fuel replenishment strategy. In fact, the fuel price of each port is usually different and fluctuates frequently with time;the fuel consumption of a ship is mainly affected by the speed of the ship, and will be affected by the draft, weather, sea conditions, etc.and will be stochastic. In this case,in view of the randomness of port fuel price and ship fuel consumption in liner transportation, this paper establishes a stochastic expected value programming model for the optimization of liner fuel replenishment strategy;designs a dynamic planning method to solve the problem according to the characteristics of liner fuel replenishment optimization;takes a shipping company's Asia Europe route as an example, through some comparisons It is found that the method proposed in this paper is applicable to different port fuel price ranges on liner routes.Compared with some fuel replenishment decision rules, the method proposed in this paper can save at least 1.57%fuel cost on average, thus verifying the effectiveness and generality of the model and algorithm. It can be seen that the proposed method can help shipping companies to formulate more realistic fuel supply strategy according to the actual port fuel price,so as to reduce liner fuel cost and improve revenue.
