Solar energy,wind energy and other renewable resources will become the main trend of new energy power generation.The intermittence and randomness of their energy supply is an important factor affecting the stability of output power.The complementary power generation system formed by combining wind power generation and photovoltaic power generation can make better use of local natural resources,but most of them are still used as auxiliary grid connected power generation system.It is of great practical value to apply the wind and light complementary power generation technology in the plateau area where the wind and light resources are more abundant.This paper studies the domestic and international research status of wind solar complementary power generation technology,finds out the problems still existing in this technology and the development direction in recent years,puts forward the research direction and introduces the research content and significance of this paper.The data of wind resources and light radiation energy in Basu County,Qamdo,Tibet Autonomous Region were collected.The overall structure of the wind solar hybrid power generation system is studied and its operation mechanism is analyzed.The maximum power point tracking control(MPPT)strategy of wind and solar energy is studied.The wind solar hybrid power generation system provides continuous power for independent load.Wind and photovoltaic power generation systems are used as the main power supply,while batteries are used as backup energy and energy storage devices.In Matlab/Simulink,the simulation model of each module of the whole wind solar complementary power generation system is built,the maximum power tracking method is selected,and the simulation input value is the local monthly average wind speed.The output voltage,duty cycle change and output power of the system are observed respectively,among which the system can get good stability after entering the local monthly average peak wind speed of 7m/s and light intensity of 1400W/m~2 The power output is about 1100W,which proves the feasibility of the system.Finally,the load situation of remote farmers in the plateau area is investigated,and the capacity of each module of the wind solar complementary power generation system is matched and calculated.Under the load demand of about 4.4kwh daily power consumption of general remote mountain users,the photovoltaic power generation system is finally selected with the capacity of five 400W photovoltaic modules in parallel;the wind power generation system has the capacity of two FD500W/48V Wind turbine:two lead-acid batteries with capacity of 300ah are selected.The purpose of this study is to solve the problems of the remote farmers in the plateau area,such as the difficulty of using electricity and the greater use of rich natural resources.
