Research On The Impact Of CSR Of China Port And Shipping Corpo Ration On Corporate Performance

The study of port and shipping economy is one of the research directions of the transportation engineering discipline,focusing on the growth of enterprises in the transportation industry and its close relationship with economic development.The research and practice of corporate social responsibility have been,paid more and more attention.As the basic industry of the national economy,the transportation industry is an important guarantee industry for the normal operation of the country and the people's good life.More and higher requirements.For this reason,studying the impact of the social responsibility of port and shipping companies as a transportation industry on the economic benefits of the company is one of the concerns of this discipline,and its research is also very necessary and urgent.At present,there is not much research on the corporate social responsibility of China's port and shipping companies.Therefore,for port and shipping companies,in-depth understanding and research on the relationship between their social responsibilities and corporate performance will help port and corporate social responsibility commitment and enhancement The investment and cultivation of social responsibility of port and shipping companies promotes the coordinated development of port and shipping companies' economic and social benefits.This article selects 32 listed port and shipping companies from 2013 to 2018 as research samples,and focuses on the relationship and impact between port and corporate social responsibility and corporate performance.First of all,it conducts a structural analysis of the status ofport and shipping companies' social responsibility through stakeholder theory,divides the port and shipping companies' social responsibilities into several dimensions,and builds a comprehensive index of port and shipping co mpanies' social responsibilities through princip al component analysis,and selects accounting indicators And market revenue indicators to measure corporate performance.When constructing the model,considering the lagging effect of social responsibility on corporate performance,a multiple linear regression model was established.Finally,data analysis tools such as Python and SPSS were used to perform regression analysis and test on the data.The research results show that:(1)The responsibilities of Chinese port and shipping companies to shareholders,creditors,employees,governments and the environment have a significant positive impact on corporate performance;the responsibilities ofport and shipping companies to consumers are significantly negatively correlated with corporate performance Relationship;the relationship between port and shipping companies' responsibilities to the public and corporate performance is not significant.(2)The better the performance of the port and shipping companies,the more willing they are to fulfill more social responsibilities in the future.(3)Compared with small and medium-sized port and shipping companies,large port and shipping companies have better social responsibility.Generally speaking,the social responsibilities undertaken by port and shipping companies and the economic benefits of companies are mutually reinforcing.After drawing the corresponding research conclusions and combining with the actual situation in practice,this paper puts forward the experience enlightenment and prospects of assuming social responsibilities,with a view that our port and shipping companies can better realize the importance of fulfilling social responsibilities and realize the company 's Increased economic benefits and sustainable development of enterprises.
