With the development of power system,the scale of power grid development is growing,and the factors that affect the stability of power system are more and more complex.Therefore,it is necessary to make an in-depth analysis of the stability of the power system,so as to put forward reasonable improvement measures.This paper analyzes the stability problem of power system and expounds that the low frequency oscillation problem is a prominent problem affecting the stable operation of large power grid.In this paper,firstly,the mathematical model of power system components including generator,excitation system,turbine and governor is established.Aiming at single machine infinite power grid and multi machine power system,the mechanism of low-frequency oscillation and its related suppression measures are analyzed,and the analysis method of low-frequency oscillation is described.Aiming at the power frequency speed regulating system of reheat turbine in thermal power unit,the damping characteristics of the speed regulating system are analyzed by using the damping torque method,and the damping characteristics expression of the speed regulating system is derived.Combined with the principle of automatic control,the damping characteristics of the speed regulating system are analyzed by using the Nyquist curve,and the Bode diagram of each parameter to the damping characteristics of the speed regulating system is drawn The relationship between the parameters of the governing system and the damping characteristics of the governing system is discussed.On this basis,the parameters of the speed control system are optimized.In this paper,the principle and method of particle swarm optimization(PSO)and the idea of program compiling are introduced.By using PSO,the fitness function suitable for optimizing the damping characteristics of speed governing system is proposed,and its parameters are optimized,and the correctness of the optimization method is verified.In this paper,the parameter optimization method of the damping characteristics of the speed control system proposed by the particle swarm optimization algorithm can improve the damping effect of the speed control system at various frequencies,and provide a reliable reference for the guarantee scheme of the stable operation of the power system.
