The construction industry is one of the biggest and essential industries in the project management field.It,therefore,needs more consistent and efficient project life cycle management to satisfy stakeholder's requirements.However,it is still a matter of concern that gaining knowledge will improvise the understanding of fundamental project management procedures for project managers and the construction industry.Project planning plays an essential role in the supervision of project performance.Still,it appears to be ignored in most global construction projects,usually bypassing stagewise project planning.There is a deficiency of understanding the importance of project planning and scheduling methods implementation in construction-based projects.Therefore,incorporating the latest management approaches/tools to enhance administrative understanding and incorporation in the area of project scheduling is another direction of research.This stresses on-demand to analyze awareness of project collaborators on the implementation of project planning models into the application.This study examines the project stakeholder's perception of practicing project scheduling or planning methods in construction projects.This question is answered by investigating project stakeholder's knowledge on application and practices of project planning,the role and effects of enablers and barriers in project planning,managing responsibilities of administration in planning and scheduling,and project stakeholder's awareness on application of FEP.A questionnaire-based survey is used to collect data from construction companies in Pakistan.The data is analyzed with the help of Kendall's coefficient of concordance and RII rankings.The study concludes with emphasizing the need to pay more attention to factors like tools for management,roles,and behavior of team and stakeholders involved in FEP that effects project performance.The horizons of this research further need to be expanded to client-side also.In the future,there is also necessary to estimate the relation between the superiority of front-end planning and project execution concerning time and cost.
