The internal structure and flow performance of intake system of diesel engine will have the most direct influence on the power,economy and emission characteristics of diesel engine.At the same time,the key to improve the diesel engine power is to raise the filling coefficient and reduce the flow resistance of the intake system.By designing and matching the optimal intake system of diesel engine,the intake gas quantity,power and fuel consumption rate of diesel engine can be increased within a certain speed range.Therefore,it is necessary to study and improve the performance and structure of intake system both theoretically and practically.In this paper,the one-dimensional model of the diesel engine is established by using the one-dimensional simulation software GT-POWER,and then the simulation data are compared with the experimental results.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.The influence of different intake pipe parameters on diesel engine performance is studied by simulating the size of intake pipe,intake pipe diameter and intake manifold size,and the parameters,fuel consumption rate and excess air coefficient of diesel engine are obtained,and the effect of different intake pipe parameters on the performance of diesel engine is studied,and the fuel consumption rate and excess air coefficient of diesel engine are obtained.The relationship between power,torque and other parameters.The optimal structural parameters of the intake system are found,and the reasonable structure of the intake pipe is verified.Then three-dimensional simulation software is used to create three-dimensional model of the whole intercooler regulator box and intake pipe of this diesel engine,and it is imported into STAR-CCM.STAR-CCM will mesh the imported three-dimensional model.Then the mesh quality and mesh size of the model are analyzed.In order to generate high-quality mesh,the package surface function is used to modify and partition the mesh,and the surface reconstruction function is used to further optimize the package mesh and then generate the volume mesh.The boundary conditions of the three-dimensional model are set,and the three-dimensional simulation operation is carried out to obtain the highest flow loss and pressure loss of the intake pipeline.Finally,the optimization effect is verified by comparing and analyzing each experimental scheme,which is helpful for the improvement of the intake system in the future.
