| As a type of traditional human localities,the ancient villages are the epitome of China’s farming culture and the treasure retained on the Chinese land.The ancient villages contain profound historical accumulation and are the carrier of regional culture and national culture.After being exposed and beaten from wind and sunshine,these ancient villages which have persevered a complete pattern of villages and buildings of a certain scale give us countless valuable cultural heritage.At the same time,there are some ancient villages left in many remote and economically backward areas due to poor transportation,which have not been better protected and have been dilapidated or even abandoned after a long period of exposure to the weather.With the development of social economy,the replacement of villages and the construction of new socialist countryside,how these ancient villages can be better preserved and retain these historical memories has become the topic of our research.This paper takes Dingcun,an ancient village in Xiangfen,Linfen,Shanxi,as the research object to explore the intrinsic spatial characteristics and architectural characteristics of the village.Firstly,the whole village is studied to analyze its geographical location,natural environment and cultural environment.Secondly,this paper studies the architectural characteristics of folk houses in ancient villages,and focuses on several representative and well-preserved buildings.And then,it analyzes the internal space and composition of this ancient village.At last,it proposes to transform and protect one of the courtyards,and at the same time studies a set of ancient village protection scheme suitable for the local area,so as to further upgrade the whole village. |
