The steel tower is a structure used to support transmission lines or transmit wireless network signals.The shapes and position dimensions of the hole-making in the steel tower components can directly affect the construction and safety of transmission tower or communication tower.With the rapid growth of domestic economy and the coming popularization of 5G network,transmission tower and communication tower are more and more attention.Because the detection requirements of the steel tower components are constantly increasing,it is necessary to research and develop the detection system of the steel tower components.This helps to solve the problem of artificial template comparison,which is difficult to ensure the dimensional accuracy and the detection efficiency of components.It can improve the production level of the steel tower components,liberate labor force,reduce labor costs and increase enterprise's economic benefit.From the two aspects of hardware and software,the basic framework of detection system is determined.According to the requirements of actual production,the standards of artificial template comparison,and the requirements of the detection efficiency of the system,the performance requirements of the detection system are put forward.In the aspect of hardware,the working principle and workflow of the detection system are obtained by the structure of the hole-making equipment and the hole-making process of the steel tower components,and the overall structure of the hardware system is designed.Then according to the performance requirements of the detection system,the models of each part of the hardware system are selected.Thereafter,the selected parts are built into the experimental platform of the hardware system,and it is configured and debugged.In terms of software,the image processing algorithm of steel tower components is studied and analyzed,which is based on the characteristics of different steel tower components with different hole-making shapes and position dimensions.Then according to the characteristics of the steel tower components and the process of hole-making,the overall flow of the software system is designed.At the same time,the five-part program algorithm of the detection system is obtained.Subsequently,according to the proposed interface design requirements of the detection system,the interface of the detection system is designed and optimized.Finally,the hardware system platform and software system platform of the detection system are combined to carry out the overall experiment,and the corresponding experimental conclusions are drawn to verify that the detection system finally meets the requirements mentioned.The detection system described in this paper is developed according to the actual situation of the production workshop of the steel tower components.The above hardware system platform and software system platform meet the performance requirements of the detection system.It can effectively solve the problem of accuracy and efficiency of artificial template comparison detection.The experiment shows that the detection system can not only solve the problem of long-term production and use of templates,but also save manpower and material resources.It can reduce the adverse effects on the installation of the steel tower,reduce the more serious economic losses caused by the breakage of the steel tower,and provide a reference for the detection of the dimension of the steel tower components.
