| With the rapid development of the e-commerce economy, the current consumption concept of social residents has gradually shifted from offline shopping to online shopping. In recent years, due to the emergence of e-commerce festivals, the demand for e-commerce of residents of Chinese coastal cities has increased dramatically. The explosive growth in the number of online shopping has caused a strong impact on the existing e-commerce logistics network system. The phenomenon of the trans-shipment center has been exploding in many places, resulting in excessive logistics costs. The congestion phenomenon of the e-commerce logistics system is becoming more and more serious, which has a negative impact on the online shopping experience of consumers, and at the same time impacts the existing road and air transportation system. At the same time, since the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008,the global shipping industry has experienced a sluggish economic development.Even though shipping costs are the lowest compared to other modes of transportation, the shipping industry is still experiencing excess capacity. How to effectively solve the problem of excess capacity of the shipping industry in the eastern coastal areas of China and activate the sluggish shipping market has become an urgent problem for marine logistics enterprises and shipping companies. Therefore, this paper finds that adding excess shipping capacity to the current congested e-commerce logistics system can achieve a win-win effect. This paper innovatively proposes to integrate the shipping capacity into the e-commerce logistics system. On the one hand,it can alleviate the congestion of the current e-commerce logistics system of coastal cities. On the other hand,it can make full use of excess shipping capacity and reduce the total cost of the system.Firstly, the paper reviews the research literatures involved and proposes the research directions and innovations. Then, based on the theoretical analysis of the background problem, the ARIMA theory and the IRP theory methods are introduced.Subsequently, the e-commerce demand is predicted by using the ARIMA model. Then, based on the dual functions of the ship providing storage and transportation, this paper constructs an IRP model based on ship transportation and an IRP model based on mobile warehouse.Next, based on the CPLEX solver, the Branch-and-Cut algorithm is used to solve the exact problem. Finally, the case study of beverage suppliers as the research object proves the feasibility of the model and algorithm constructed in this paper, and at the same time verifies the practical value of integrating ship capacity into the current e-commerce logistics network system. |
