With the continuous improvement of economic level and the continuous development of science and technology,the ship scale gradually increases,many waterway,harbor and other nearby waters become relatively narrow,restricted waters will continue to increase.When the ship is sailing in the channel with limited width,the port and starboard are easily affected by the bank wall.If the ship is not well controlled,it is easy to touch the bank wall.For the ships running near the shore,the shore effect is one of the unsafe factors that lead to the collision accidents.But at present,the research results on the effect of the bank wall are mostly based on the assumption that the ship is floating,and in the actual navigation process,the ship will experience a certain draft difference.According to the existing research,the draft difference will affect the hull resistance,maneuverability and seakeeping,and then affect the navigation safety of the ship.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the effect of bank wall under the condition of draft difference.Therefore,first of all,using the lifeboat of Dalian Maritime University,the actual ship test of the influence of the draft difference on the shore wall effect is explored,and the test conclusion that the draft difference does have effect on the ship's shore wall effect is obtained.Due to the limitation of the real ship test and the numerical simulation method can effectively simulate the external flow field of the ship,the exploration process is not limited by the conditions.Finally,the CFD reliability calculation model is used to study the effect of different draft,different speed and different distance to shore on the ship's shore effect.The law and conclusion of the influence of draft difference on the effect of ship's quay wall are summarized.The research of this paper provides a certain theoretical guidance for the safe operation of ships with draft difference when they approach and leave the wharf,and has a strong practical application value.
