The Artistic Conception And Construct Application Of Northern Zhejiang Private Gardens In Ming And Qing Dynasties

Ming and Qing Dynasties is the peak period of the development of Chinese traditional gardens,while the Northern Zhejiang traditional gardens in Ming and Qing Dynasties represent the highest level of gardening in Zhejiang Province,and are an important part of Chinese traditional gardens.However,with the rapid development of society and the gradual promotion of urbanization,the construction of Chinese traditional gardens has gradually become out of touch with the construction of modern human settlements.Many scholars focus on the construction of modern gardens,and think that the traditional gardens are only limited between the square inch and the technique is backward,which can not be used by modem gardens,thus ignoring the research on them.Therefore,based on inheriting excellent material cultural heritage and re-introducing the traditional garden style,the author studies the private gardens in Northern Zhejiang in Ming and Qing Dynasties.Now there are three problems in the study of traditional garden:the first is to discuss garden with garden,focusing on the construction techniques of single garden,neglecting its specific historical background and regional culture;the second is to study traditional garden only on the characteristics induction,lacking the exploration of modem garden;the third is to explore the traditional gardening in practice,only staying in the theoretical stage,it is difficult to rise to the practical levelTherefore,this paper uses literature search,field research,case analysis,summary and other methods to carry out the research on the Northern Zhejiang private gardens in Ming and Qing Dynasties.The main results are as follows:(1)In the historical background,under the comprehensive effect of natural,political,economic and cultural conditions,the gardens of Northern Zhejiang in Ming and Qing Dynasties formed a distinctive regional garden system.In the private gardens of Northern Zhejiang in Ming and Qing Dynasties,the construction of natural landscape garden was the most distinctive,among which Guo's Villa,Liuyu Villa,Anlan garden,Qiyuan and Xiaolian manor were the most typical(2)The unique style of private gardens in the north of Zhejiang in Ming and Qing Dynasties is the combination of technology and art.From the perspective of modern application of traditional garden,it can be summed up as "Conception and construct".Conception means the design theme.From the perspective of design process,construct can interpret five stages:site analysis,spatial layout,element construction,cultural implantation and activity planning.(3)Based on the idea of private garden maker in the north of Zhejiang in Ming and Qing Dynasties,this paper sums up the idea of modern garden maker from the perspective of modern planning and design,and practices it in Zhejiang garden of Beijing World Horticultural Exposition.
