Research On Modern Memorial Landscape Planning And Design

The commemorative landscape is a product of the spiritual development of the era,and it has an important place in the history of human development.As China has entered a new era in an all-round way,the demand for spiritual commemorative features of contemporary landscapes is increasing day by day,and the form of commemorative landscape spaces is increasingly diversified.The commemoration itself is a continuatlon of the past time.Each place must not only look to the future but also have the responsibility to continue the past.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out a scientifie and rational research on the modem commemorative landscape space,and to make the commemorative landscape space design more time-dependent.This article takes the excellent case of 9/11 National Memorial Plaza in the United States as an entry point to summarize and analyze the development trend of modem commemorative landscape.This paper selects the landscape space of Yuhuatai,the ancient city of Nanjing,as the main research object,and combines the study of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum and Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum to analyze the composition of landscape space.The "8·12 Tianjin Binhai New Area Explosion Accident" as a major safety accident has a demand for commemoration.Therefore,the design of the Haikou Memorial Park was selected as an empirical study.This article first summarizes the research status and future development trends of commemorative landscapes at home and abroad,and analyzes and discusses the development status and problems of commemorative landscapes in China.Secondly,it analyzes specific cases and selects typical examples of Nanjing commemorative landscapes from space elements and scales.This paper compares and analyzes the four aspects of narrative and visual perception of space sequence,summarizes the space features and development trends of modem Nanjing commemorative landscape,and finally discusses the design of the Tianjin Port explosion accident memorial park as an example to discuss the coumemorative landscape design.The design idea of the explosion accident memorial park explores the commemorative landscape space to express the commemorative nature of the site.The paper proposes corresponding design methods and measures for different commemorative contents in order to design a monumental landscape with continuity of the times.Finally,this paper summarizes the maim points of landscape space design from the macroscopic and microscopic perspectives,with a view to benefit the current research on monumental landscapes.
