In the modern war,how much damage the weapon system can cause to the given target and whether it can flexibly respond to the changes of the target.These two capabilities play a key role in the evolution of the battlefield situation.Select the best location,timely use in the corresponding airspace,and launch missiles at any time when necessary,so as to cause the greatest damage to the target It is particularly important in the interest war.Therefore,the requirements of the fixed distance control technology of projectile are higher and higher.At present,the commonly used test methods in the field of height measurement of blast point can not meet the needs of the measurement of height distance of blast point of near earth projectile due to the defects of high cost,high requirements for synchronous acquisition and low measurement accuracy.Therefore,a distance control technology of high-speed projectile based on UWB is proposed.This paper analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of several commonly used projectile distance control technologies,selects the projectile distance control technology based on UWB with high positioning accuracy,studies the characteristics of UWB technology and channel characteristics,simulates the channel model with MATLAB and gives the simulation diagram,discusses several commonly used ranging technologies based on UWB,and aims at the traditional unilateral bidirectional ranging(SS-TWR)ranging protocol needs a long time delay.An optimization algorithm is proposed.According to the requirements of this paper,an ultra wideband microstrip antenna is designed,which requires that the reflection coefficient is below-10 dB,the VSWR is less than 2,and the gain can reach 5dBi in the required frequency range of 3.5-6.5GHZ.Finally A UWB ranging system based on dw1000 chip launched by decawave is built,including UWB RF transceiver module,transmit and receive two-way amplification module and data acquisition and storage circuit.Theranging system is mainly controlled by FPGA,which completes the logic control of flash storage,wireless acquisition,data read back and real-time display,and analyzes the timing logic design of specific modules.The function test and verification of the wireless ranging system are carried out in the static and dynamic environment.The ranging distance can reach 802 m.Matlab simulation of the test data shows that the ranging error of the UWB based ranging system is 40 ~ 60 cm.
