Dryer is an important equipment in the production of wood,building materials,food,feed,medicine,and so on.As one of the important parts of the dryer,the quality of the conveying roller affects the stability of conveying,production efficiency and product quality.At present,the conveying rollers are basically manufactured manually,which leads to low degree of automation and unstable quality,so as can not meet the requirements of mass production.Therefore,it is necessary to develop the equipment and control system of the automatic production line of conveying roller.First,the structural form of the conveyor roller and the overall configuration of its automatic production line equipment were determined based on the process requirements of the sheet dryer;Second,the automatic conveyor roller production line equipment was designed from the aspects of mechanical system,pneumatic system,hydraulic system and control system,etc.In terms of mechanical systems,it was determined that the production line equipment is composed of a material sorting station,a pre-alignment station,a final head station,a welding station and a straightening station through analysis of the production process of the conveyor rollers,and the mechanical mechanism of production line was modeled,assembled and simulated;Then the pneumatic and hydraulic system was designed by analyzing the movement requirements of the production line,and the required components were selected;and the electrical control hardware system and software system were designed using dual PLC controllers to ensure the production line can run in parallel,where the material management station,pre-alignment station,and final head station are controlled by one PLC controller,and the welding station and alignment station are controlled by another one.Finally,a straightening algorithm was proposed base on the curvature bending elastic complex theory and the bilinear hardening model,and the relationship between the specific initial deflections and the straightening strokes was obtained.This paper designed the equipment and control system of the automatic production line of the conveyor roller,which can realize the automatic loading,measurement,alignment and assembly of steel pipes and shaft heads,the automatic welding of semi-finished products,and the automatic measurement of finished products,as well as straightening and automatic loading and unloading functions of each station.The research results may provide a reliable reference for the design and application of automatic production equipment for conveyor rollers.
