The refrigerator door is an important part of the refrigerator and plays an important role.As one of the standards for refrigerator classification,the refrigerator door directly affects the appearance of the refrigerator,and the performance will directly affect the reliability of the entire refrigerator.The structural design of the door is the most common module in the design of the refrigerator.The similarity and repeatability of the structure bring a lot of unnecessary repetitive work to the designer,which directly affects the development cycle of the new product.At present,most refrigerator manufacturers still rely on experience to adopt the traditional "bottom-up" design method,which limits the product and cannot obtain the optimal module division result.Meanwhile,without considering the diversity of requirements,the divided modules cannot meet the diversity of requirements.Therefore,how to use 3D design software to realize the modularization and parametric design of the refrigerator door body is important,such as reducing design cycle,improving efficiency,and satisfying diversity.This paper is based on the characteristics of the household electrical applications which include the multifunction,the variety of categories and the fast replacement.Then,start the research on module parameterized design method of refrigerator.Firstly,the difference between modular design and traditional modular design of home appliances is expounded.The key concepts in module parameterized design are introduced in detail,and then the " top-down"module parameterized design method is proposed.After that,research about how to build its module parameterized design template.In this paper,the NX’s product template studio module and WAVE’s "expression" function to research the production of module parameterized design templates.This template has parametric 3D design and visual functions which can realize the application effect of intuitive interface and simple operation,and then facilitate the product development.Finally,taking the refrigerator door as an example,the design process and usage method of the module parameterized design template are introduced.The modeling process of the module parameterized template is presented.The rapid design of the door components is achieved by changing the relevant parameters.This design process improves the design efficiency,optimizes the design,reduces the engineer’s workload and enables the curing and reuse of design data.The construction of the module parameterized template of the door is beneficial to improve the design efficiency and design quality of the door structure,reduce the development cycle of the refrigerator product,respond quickly to market changes,improve the utilization of existing resources and save development costs.
