The crew is an important indicator of the extent of the industry's prosperity and an important factor in whether the shipping industry can thrive.With the continuous improvement of the living standards of our people and the diversification of employment methods,the loss rate of crew members is increasing.At present,the significant loss of crew members has become a problem that cannot be ignored in the development of China's shipping industry.The newly recruited crew members are the fresh blood of the crew.Whether they can adapt to the post work as soon as possible will directly affect whether they leave their posts.The newly recruited crew members will enter the new working environment.They must adapt to the working and living environment of the ship as soon as possible.The interpersonal relationship in the new environment,and also the professional knowledge and skills necessary for the work on board,so that they can assume their job responsibilities as soon as possible.Whether the newly recruited crew can adapt to the new interpersonal relationship and working environment,and adjust their mentality in time to face a series of pressures will have an important effect on the new crew members overcoming the tension and fear of working on the ship.The main way to improve the crew's ability to adapt to the crew's turnover rate.In order to complete the research in this paper,the author entered the XGJ shipping company as an intern and participated in the training of the newly recruited crew of the company.In the process,using the qualitative research method,the company's new recruits and company personnel And the senior captain conducted in-depth interviews,and learned that the main reason for the low adaptability of the newly recruited crew members in the company is that they have difficulties in adapting to the working environment on the ship and handling difficulties with the superior working relationship in the ship,and have unearthed new problems.The reason for the difficulty of adapting the crew position to the position,Based on the comprehensive investigation,the author selected two practical intervention methods,group work and case work,as a social worker to help new recruits cope with their job adaptation difficulties and improve their job adaptability.In the group work process,the author enhances their ability to communicate with others by improving their ability to communicate with others,so that the team members' position adaptability is improved.In the case work,the social worker collects various reasons for the difficulty of adapting his position through the collection of different aspects of the case.On this basis,the cognitive behavioral therapy model is used to allow the client to psychologically accept his mistakes.Willing to face new jobs,thus improving the ability to adapt to the position.Finally,the author has reflected and summarized this research,and believes that the social work method has a substantial effect in improving the adaptability of new recruits to improve their positions.At the same time,from the perspective of social work,it reduces the turnover rate of new recruits and improves the shipping companies.The crew's ability to adapt presents a solution path and recommendations.
