Recently,due to industrial and economic development,air pollution gradually eroded people's health particularly haze and decoration pollution.With the improvement of people's living standards and the attention to their own health status,air purification products reached a new heights.In this trend,the demand drive a large number of products into the market resulting air purification products are patchy in the market,which causes many problems such as function,appearance,interaction and so on,especially the lack of accurate market positioning,there are no products for young people.In view of the above problems,this paper launched a design of air purification products for urban young users.Product is an organic whole,the current study of air purification products are limited to a single aspect,such as purification technology,function realization,or only the appearance,current research can not provide the user with a product which can meet the user demands from all aspects.The existing research is just a "point",and not connected to the "line".Based on this,aimed at satisfying the demands of customers,this topic grasps the "people-oriented" design concept in industrial design analyzing and designing the function structure and the appearance of the air purification products,it will eventually combine two aspects to complete product design practice.The main research includes the following aspects:1.Identifying young people as target users through the market investigation,capturing and analyzing demands around users group,clearing up,classifying and forecasting acquisition demand to clear purpose and direction for a follow-up study.2.Analyzing the product function,establishing the product function model,considering the users' emotions to increase human nature and emotional functions,translating functional requirements into the problems of existing products,applying materials-field model to put forward solutions to problems.3.Grouping the design elements of the air purification products,establishing the relationship between product design elements and perceptual vocabulary based on Kansei engineering,selecting design elements to guide the product outward appearance modelling design according to perceptual word that users describe.4.Combining industrial design theory and the theory of conflict resolution,proposing the model of product design process based on the theory of conflictresolution,solving the conflict between functional analysis and design elements by this model,combining the related knowledge theory,completing product design practice,verifying the feasibility and the authenticity of the entire process.
